Future is entirely different cuz he's consistently been an artist that's had success. This is just the next step in his career.
Like these new Future fans could leave tomorrow, and he could still put out a hit record, tour and sell albums. Pluto sold what, 300K, Honest sold like 150k. Ds2 will likely go gold.
Lil B can't do that.

I rock with that era of Based God, and none of his songs would've got any radio AirPlay. He's a troll rapper. But a good one. What lil B did was open the door for artist like Rif Raf etc to eat.
Lil B can't make a Racks, Tony Montana, Never End, Karate Chop, S-word, B's Love me, Magic, Same Damn Time, Move that dope, Bugatti, Itchin, Commas, March Madness, Trap N's, Real Sisters, Where ya at etc.
Those are hits that were in rotation for a 4-5 year stretch starting in 2011. Not even counting features.
Monster, 56 Nights and Beast mode are the reason Future is winning even more right now.

Bro go read the future thread before and during honest. We were all on board before and were disappointed when it dropped. These new fans could leave tomorrow and son will still have a following, he had one since 2012. Dudes who never gave son a chance are just listening now. Before this run the had him labeled as a quan/thug type of dude until they actually listened.

The majority of Future fans are ridin' with him hardbody so long as he stays in the trap rap lane, he gave the lil mainstream/Hollywood life a try and his fans didn't carry over but he's back where he belongs now and we outchea ridin' harder than ever.

Both these posts are a mess.
Future clearly hasn't been making the same music all these years. If he did, people would've talked about him back then as they do now. When people make better music, more people tend to catch on. His last 4 releases are his best work, and directly correlates to the props he gets. I had him pegged as a b-grade TPain early on, and after all these recent projects, he's not that at all. Simple concept that's foreign to you, make better music and you more than likely will get props for it. I loathed Riff Raff and Gunplay years ago, then they started making better music and I became fans of them.
People feel the way they do about 2Chainz now cause his music got worse. The 1st 2 Trapaveli tapes along with Codeine Cowboy were very good. TRU Realigion was his apex as far as best material. BOATS was decent, but had enough bangers get spins. Then he exhausted himself on features trying to strike while the iron is hot (which I don't blame, he's like 40), and then his music and even his rapping got worse. BOATS 2 was just underwhelming and forgettable. Trapaveli 3 feels like the nail in the coffin. It sucks.
When Lil B can have a run comparable to 56 Nights/Monster/Beast Mode/DS2, along with having real tangeable albums in stores, along with charting hits, then you can make that comparison. Future has a "machine" behind him, yet has never had hits that charted as high as Fetty Wap nor Rich Homie Quan, neither of which are on a major label. So exactly how much does a machine really matter?
Hate even entertaining that mess.

Damn, that is a good point. However, I think Future has an ablitity that others don't. He can find the tune in the music and make good songs. He'll be here for another few years.

No, it took him making a steady stream of good music for me and other people to "buy into the hype". Future could possibly disappear and let all these projects marinate, and come back with something on par with those previous ones. Also, Honest sounds nothing like Pluto, which sounds nothing like FBG The Movie, which sounds nothing like Beast Mode, which sounds nothing like Astronaut Status, so I still don't see how you think he's the same artist. And it's not an excuse that that's his best work, it's a fact.
