Hackers Threaten to Expose 37 Million Cheating AshleyMadison Users

These hackers are fools. They're doing this because the site doesn't delete the info of their users like they claim so they'll publicly release people's credit card info and nude pics. How about they delete everything instead of releasing people's private stuff or just mind their damn business.

How about they not... cheat?

Well that would be ideal but releasing people's private info and pics isn't a good thing either. They make it sound like they're going against the website but don't mind screwing over millions of people.

Why would one even go to a website dedicated to cheating, not dating, but cheating specifically?

If thats not the epitome of unethical.

I'm sure a quite a few of these culprits are lawmakers, business owners, supervisors, politicians, etc. The same way peoples mugshots get plastered across different media outlets. What makes it any different then exposing these cheaters? Most of whom, probably determine laws or payrolls? Expose these jokers. No remorse.

Private info is private info. I'm just not a fan of hacking people's info. I've had my email hacked and someone tried to mess with my finances. Someone in my family had their credit card info stolen also. Hackers don't give a damn about moral stuff most of the time, they just wanna flex and be jerks.

Is it bad that I want to see this happen. Not so much the credit card info, but definitely the exposing cheaters

Yessss because when you cheat you have to go online and make an account on some site and talk about it.

Yesssssss wowwww that's cute

It will be crazy if like celebs, athletes and high ranking officials get exposed.

IDK why they would need to cheat through a website, but 37 Million is a loooot of people.

I know a single dude that used to use that site. He was telling me about all the married unhappy yambs on there. Something about a site dedicated to cheaters rubbed me the wrong way.

You lost, buy being under the impression that any information is "private". I'm no computer engineer, or IT specially but, it's common sense. Web builders or software developers, if they were to get laid off from a job, you don't think their bitterness may cause them to do something immoral? Watch the movies "Sneekers" and "Hackers", if you haven't already.

Don't matter. Deliberately releasing people's info makes them jackasses. I know any info posted can be compromised. I constantly check my accounts to make sure no scumbag has hacked it.

Of course it does not matter. But, tell that too people, who think like those who do these things. I've been an ID theft victim, as well as had banking funds compromised. People have no conscious. In this case, I'm more interested in the actual cheaters, I'm not concerned about their credit card information. They should not be cheating. Therefore, face the consequences of the public shame.

Whether people cheat on their spouses is none of my business unless someone I know will get hurt by it. I'm very against cheating because i've seen it done to people but what these guys doing are lame.

almost every cheater I know is insecure as hell, the type who always try and make their girl feel bad

a lot of the times, it's also the girl's fault for sticking by the dude when they clearly see what's going on

i created a profile. didnt use my real name, though. a lot of "sugar babies"

man i never even heard of this site untill today hope all that data gets leaked.
