The flyknit on the iDs, especially on the toe area isn't exactly the same as it is on the GRs. On the GR you can clearly see the TPU strands separately go through the shoe. The iD's aren't as flexible with the flyknit. Its as if the iDs just molded the TPU and the flyknit together

As I mentioned in the id thread, this is probably due to the paint added to the flyknit. If you paint the flyknit, you'll paint the TPU strands with it.
My black upper is fine and I can see the TPU strands by themselves.

Yea I agree, its probably the paint, it just seems to have lost the flexibility a little bit compared to the GR pairs.

Multiple Baylor players had the WHs on. Gonzaga was fitted in the Xs in multiple colorways. I'm seen more Kobes than other sigs in the tourney so far.

I noticed on my 4KB's that I got from Nike some of the threading on the swoosh is loose, is there any way how I could possibly get a discount or some sort of promo code or do you think Nike wouldn't do anything about it? Thanks!

Maybe, depends on the rep you chat with. One may say send them back for a refund, another may give you a 10% promo. Just be nice to them and you may get lucky.

For a $220 dollar pair of shoes they better not have anything wrong with them straight out of the box. If they gave me a 10% discount code for my next purchase they would still be making so much money off me if I bought another pair of Kobe's! lol

Nothing is wrong with it though... those little loose threads that no one would notice and won't affect the performance of the shoe I don't consider to be faulty.

I got a feeling it will initially be SNKRS. If it's not a sell out (fake or otherwise) it will probably pop up on the site later. In all the twitter responses the past couple days, the rep has seemed to really emphasize it will release on SNKRS. They probably invested a good deal into SNKRS in order to make it available across the board.
