I will almost never buy a shoe with a clear sole. The yellowing just looks too bad over time.

Man when I tried on the Achilles the logo on the left heel was so off center it look B grade

 
^the left heel on my BHMs is pretty off... 

Sucks look-wise but as long as they are not going to come apart, not huge to me

I returned my BHMs to NDC because of this. Got a perfect replacement.

So most of you here let your toes reach the edge of the shoe? Im just wondering coz I usually give myself a 2-finger width clearance.

I go one finger width, while standing and putting weight on that foot.

Two-finger width is quite a bit of room...maybe for running shoes. But touching the end of the sneaker is just as bad (worse, IMO).



The best recommendation is about a thumbnail's width (1/2 inch, approximately) from the end of your longest toe to the end of the shoe. And when you measure this, you should be standing up, putting weight on the foot and splaying your toes.


 

If you have to choose, always go bigger. Your feet will thank you.

That's what happened to me too. I don't think a lot of NTers know their actual true size.

Word to the dudes in sneaker groups that are looking for a particular shoe but in a range, like " looking for a pair of unworn prelude V's size 8.5 to 10. Or looking for trades in sizes 9-11. Like wtf? I wear one size, maybe go down a half size in certain shoes.
