Because Kobes, or any signature sneaker for that matter, tend to sell much better when its namesake athlete is wearing them.....

if nike is using this logic, how about releasing the colorways that Kobe actually wears.

none of this off the court story-colorway BS.

Might these be a pic of a takedown model?  The only colorway I see in the product descriptions using 'volt' for the first five 11 releases is the Easter one, and it doesn't seem to fit the below description.  I also seem to recall the first 'leaked' pics (at least the ones I saw) last year being of the takedown.

$200 starting? Unless the regular model is fly knit from the beginning then I can't see myself getting many pairs @ retail.

Same. I'm not sure if I'll have the same enthusiasm for Kobes if he's not the one wearing them. I really want to see that "Home" color, hopefully something simple and close to what he would wear.

Yea, Nike is full of BS. I'll copp when almost every last pair inevitably go on sale to what Kobe prices SHOULD BE ($130-150).

And if the regular model is Fuse... Keep it!

It's going to be Real Interesting to see if they pulled out all of the stops for the Kobe XI or if they mail it in and give us more Flyknit Low/Flyknit High BS.

I'd like to see some NEW Tech on the Shoe... for a shoe that keeps going up in price, that's not much to ask every few years or so.
