There's been no confirmation at all that Tinker designed these. At all. Just a bs rumor probably.

Agreed.  It was only the sneaker blogs who posted that Tinker had a part in Kobe's 11... and we all know how 'accurate' those site can be.

I think 1 person said it and then everyone assumed it was true.

The 11 looks too similar to other kobes for it to come from a different designer.

The 1s look like huaraches. The 2s are too bulky. The 3s look dumb. The 4s were too to low to play ball in. The 5s weren't an upgrade on the 4s. The 6s were gimmicky. The 7s were too rigid. The 8s didn't use enough tech. The 9s looked like boxing shoes. The 10s were rip offs of the 9s. These are all things I heard when each kobes came out. I even thought some of it to be true. But without fail, I ended up liking each and every model. Let's calm down because we all know we're gonna buy these anyway.

the greatest thing about the kobe line was the break thru in making them low. no lie, a couple of the models were failures, but the whole militart x shin guard thing taxed the kobe line way too much. the ids started to just take away from the shoe.

he talked about it on the GMA interview. said something about he would love to go out there with them to play, but just doesnt know if he will be able to.

i guess we'll have to wait and see.

Found those images that were posted back of the Kobe 11 on taobao the fake chinese site, I think they are fakes but maybe they are using the model of the actual 11s being made in the factories in China? Here is another look at one of them.
