Say what you want about the Mamba Day IDs vs. The FTB XIs, but as a separate sneaker, I still like the Mamba Days as a collection piece.

I'm putting together a memorabilia case of those, a gold Kobe Lakers jersey and a big framed photo that will commemorate his last game.

any ideas on brave blues? 10am est? anyways, i wouldve liked the original, but im ok with IDing a pair. the black/gold combo is beautiful.

Just looked at my email, you're right, it is different. Looks like the one that Footlocker was selling, maybe the NDC design was never final in the first place. 
 
Wonder what Kobe will do now knowing his competetive personality. Will he still wake up at 4 or 5? Polish his craft even though he wont play again? I really dont think he's the type of person to sit and relax all day or have a business where he's just in the background earning. I see him being hands on.
 
I actually think the FTL "love to hate" shirt looks better and less screen printed/replicable.

I was happy with the original one NDC had up, but I'm happier to get the version they actually shipped out.

He mentioned a couple times before/after the game, he's still hitting the gym this morning, he's got his company he's doing a lot of different things with regarding "story telling" (not sure in what context but I remember that SI article about a year ago that mentioned some of the avenues he will be exploring with it). He also responded to a question of "we will ever see you back in the organization working with the young players" and he said basically you might not ever "see" him doing it, but he'd be willing to.

He's also documented this entire season with his film crew so we can expect a video of some kind and I would think a book.
