I missed the GS part. So the adult version should look better with slightly tweaked areas in the shoe.

I kinda like it..
If that's it, I'm glad that they kept it simple. The Lebron's and KD's look way too crazy and futuristic as of late, if it can perform well and have a simple sleek look then count me in.

If this is the EM model (think it is)...I'm liking these a lot. Reason I think these are EMs...they don't seem to fit the descriptions of the first five $200 releases. The 'home' model with purple in them (1/30/16) is listed as 'White/Black/Court Purple.' First color listed is usually the predominate color of the shoe. These are not predominantly 'home/white.' Second release with purple in them is the 2/27/16 release, which is 'hyper grape", but also has 'university gold' and 'bright crimson. No Uni Gold or Bright Crimson here.
These look like a mix of the 9 EM, and the 8 (both looked similar). Past year, a lot of people complained about the 10s (and with exception of the Fundamentals, they sat). This looks like they're getting back to the core elements which worked on the 8 and 9 (IMO). If the customer speaks with their $...they usually get what they want. If you replace the 'flight weave' looking material on these with Flyknit, and get rid of the 'Playskool' looking achilles lines (which they did for the Elite Xs) ...I think they would be absolute flames.
If I'm not mistaken, think I remember Tinker saying the 9 was iconic, and that he'd wished he designed them. If Tinker did help design these, it might make sense. Take the best elements of the 9 and 8, add a few new touches....and it would probably look like a 9 that had been 'tinkered' with.

Even for a gradeschool shoe that looks pretty clean. I mean look at other Kobe shoes sized down to GS level like the 9. Can't wait for more info. I still think the 8 looks better.
