Yeah, @SuperStarLord  was saying if he could grab a pair he would do the custom to lows.

I wanna do the same, but you gotta buy the shoe, then pay somebody to customize it - which is essentially the cost of another shoe

I picked up a pair of Achilles at the outlets ($105 after MVP Pass and survey coupon) to add to my FTBs. This is my favorite sneaker model in a while, both in looks and comfort. I think the Eulogies and BHM are next for me.
 
to me the best Kobe to ball in are 1s

 alot of people say they are bulky but to me they're the perfect balling shoes, I still have my ASG 1s, and 81 pts. that I bust out in the court every now and then

Nope.  I wear my BLs, on court, and never had a problem.  I wear the BHM 4468s, casually, and love them.  I'm on my feet all day long too.

I agree for the most part it terms of quality. The 9 elites were pretty nice to me as well. the flyknit was bad but the details in each release was pretty nice.

Ordered late afternoon one hour after @LyPac posted the link to Shoe Palace and got them today. Tracking said it was going to be delivered on Monday but guess the carrier(OnTrac) works Saturday. Wonder if they were discounted in-store. Oh well saved me a trip.

The tongue is thicker than the other XIs and with the kinda fuzzy lining and inside tongue, these are geared towards casual use.

Now to wait for the Parkers to release and go on discount to complete the pack.

Have every Kobe, and for me, hands down....the 9.  Even Tinker said he wished he created it.  It's iconic...like the Jordan 3 or 11.  Can't wait till they retro it because they really didn't release many lows.  Just the 3 and the HTMs.  Beethoven is classic, and the multi iD low is amazing.  I have 7 pairs of 9 iDs, and if they put it back up, I would go ham and make another 10.

The elite 9s could have been more comfortable though. I know to some people there were hotspots and the fit could be iffy since the elite lows ran so small. But looks wise, its definitely top 2 in the kobe line. The 11s are definitely it for me, which I didn't expect at all because when these first surfaced, I wasn't the biggest fan because I figured it was just another low like all the other past kobe models but as more colorways came out and I started to wear them, I realized just how comfortable the 11s are and quality felt premium. It separated itself from the others. And there hasn't really been a terrible colorway yet, unlike the 4s, 5s and 6s which came out with so many colorways that weren't great and that plastic/synthetic feel was more evident to me after owning all these 11s.

Hopefully one day they will retro the 4, 5, 6 and 8 with more updated tech, flyknit upper and zoom units. That would be a game changer and can overtake the 11s. Just in it's current form, 11s > all

So, the Kobe 5s were my greatest ever shoe cop. Until mamba day, they were my Grail. I love to ball in them, for me they were the basketball sneaker game changer ; elegant, sleek, lightweight, supportive. I loved them and still do to this day. (I have a few pairs of 5s but this pair will rarely see a court)

My 9s are my go to sneaker for ball. I feel like I can fly when I play in these and after severing all my ligaments in my left ankle most importantly I feel safe in them post op. in general the flyknit On these was a game changer for me. Stylistically these are incredible! I only have the mamba moments + multi flyknit ID tho :frown: this shoe has basically made me realise I ALWAYS wanna be covered in flyknit lol

My third shoe is my FTB 11.. Speaks for itself. I only wish I had some clean courts around so I could actually ball in these.

Cos I ordered mine and it says Monday as well but knowing that there's a chance today? Haha

The only colorway that's been terrible is the Easter IMO. Other than that, the 11's have far exceeded my expectations.

North San Jose. I thought it was coming Monday too but It came around 1. Good thing I came home because it required a signature.
 
I kinda consider the 11 the 9 (2.0) if that makes sense.  So both the 11 and 9 to me are the best Kobes IMO.  I love both.
