the problem with running that risk of buying from someone sketchy even though you have protection by ebay AND paypal, is that you're assuming you secured your pair. So you're not scouring for other deals or even in the market for them anymore. Time goes by and you either get fakes or the seller doesn't ship, and you deal with the ordeal of a refund and shipping back or whatever. Even more time as elapsed and you've probably missed out on some legit sellers and/or deals, and now you're back in the market and the prices are higher.
