between the first two options I'd choose the GCRs, but personally I won't go looking for those on resale. If they become available on NDC, I have plenty of gift cards on deck for them

When does that expire. I FTL is likely to lift the exclusion sooner rather than later. They offer 20% off like it's candy. Unless there is absolutely nothing you want I would hold onto the code and use it for something else. Of course its your call though lol.

$270-$280 for GCR's isn't bad, considering if they release here in the states, you'll probably end up paying $230-$240 after tax/shipping anyways

If you have a larger foot, you'll want the 54" version. I wear a 12 and can barely tie them with that size. I also have a wide foot with a high arch so that's why I need the longer laces.

true, didn't think about that. I wear mine unlaced like how I have it in the pic so the 45s work perfect.

Picked up my 4th july/Olympics today...straight fire!!! I just need to do a custom pair with full length zoom and get a white and gold mamba day pair and i think i am done with the xi

Man I have the biggest urge to cop something off of FTL right now. I was really hoping for the Emperors but may get a double on the Tinkers. I gotta slow down lol.
That being said, when it says "available in select stores" will a footlocker employee tell you what one has them and allow you to order? I have seen and heard many people do this but I want to make sure that's how it works.

If you want to tie them and use all the eyelets then I would suggest 54" for any size. I ordered the 45" for my Kobe XI BL (size 9) but I wear them untied. I tried tying them up using all the eyelets and I could barely tie them. I also bought the 54" to go with my Kobe IX China which I tie since I use it for hoopin and it is perfect. So 45" if wearing untied or 54" if tying.
PS.
45" may work if you want to tie if you skip the last eyelet.
