I hoop in the Kobe 6, 8, 9 and 11s and so far I haven't had any ankle issues. I suppose if I were to land on someone's foot then I may end up with a sprained ankle but that will happen even if I were wearing high tops.

I sprained my ankle real bad in the 11's but it had nothing to do with the shoe. I landed on someone's foot and it rolled. Wouldn't have mattered if it were high or low but I haveNT had a problem at all since
 
So I really like the silhouette of the 11s, but I don't really play basketball. I want to cop a pair but I've heard the sole on the 11s is a softer rubber that can wear out quickly if worn as casual shoes (like walking around on concrete, etc). Is this true, or do 11s function perfectly fine as casual sneakers?

I have the Easters and have had them for about 2 weeks and I will say they perform very well. I am usually a Kobe 8 kind of guy but the 8s are now getting too expensive for re sale so I decided to grab these and they feel great. Not as light as the 8s but they still fell good. My only problem is due to the lunar insole(which feels great when you land. I have flat feet so this is a must) they fit kind of tight. I would recommend trying a size higher depending on how wide your feet are. Hope this helps.

They seem ok for casual wear to me. you could probably mess up other parts of these kicks in many different ways before the sole wears out.

That's just my 2 cents.
 
Any updates on whether GCR will be released in the U.S.?

And what's the deal with SNKRS having a FSR of Tinkers? Did these sell poorly for some reason?

All these rehashed old themes are getting played out. Even the idea of an MC iD is making me lose interest.

Only thing that is keeping me interested would be the black horse and maybe a WTK

Hoping I can get more XI's on discount though :D
