Shooting in Louisiana movie theater

in all seriousness this is too much. if this becomes the norm we are being accustomed to murder much like what happens in mexico where you see dead bodies on the street and you don't say anything. i know it's extreme but it's what it reminds me. :smh:
 
I live in Lafayette about 10 minutes from where this took place and this is unheard of out here. This is crazy.

Haven't heard about this, doesn't help that OP makes a thread without any info.

But I will say this, how would taking away guns solve anything? It would just make it so crazy people who shouldn't be able to get guns but are still able to can walk into a random place and kill a bunch of people without worrying about one of them shooting back.
 
taking away guns wont help. much like when prohibition began. people still found a way to get their booze.
 
And if thy take guns away then what? You think guns aint gona get in this country? I need my guns. Cant protect a shooter with your heart or fist. Im dumpin a clip on someone endagering my family and those around me.
 
let me dumb it down for you guys.

Guns are illegal and law abiding citizens such as yourself no longer have them, because you followed the law and got rid of them.

I however need my guns to commit robberies and other crimes. I come into your house with intent to kill you and your family.

You don't have any guns to defend yourself or your family.

Yea, you did call 911 when you heard me break into your house. The police will be on their way while I'm driving away from your house after catching a body.

I know this comes off as a mean and bad post. I'm just making a point and not threatening anybody

The problem is that instances where mass shooters do damage with their legally owned gun far outweighs the instances where a legal gun owner was able to effectively defend themselves from a mass shooter.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Man what? So you must be against the death penalty as well then right? I mean its just a button that injects poisin into someone....even ifthey didnt use a gun during the crime they got convicted for....


So when a citizen is in serious danger and squeezes the trigger and the bad guy is now dead, no longer alive to do harm in the world, the hero did something bad?
