People need to stop. Creasing comes with wearing a shoe anyway. Nike isn't selling you wall trophies. Sure I get it, the shoe showing stress marks out the box isn't cool but at the end of the day the shoe is intended to be worn not displayed. I've seen people complain a lot on kicks with all leather uppers not realizing that the leather being used while not great has still been a higher quality leather. As we all know higher quality leather creases a lot more than the pleather they've been using. I'm not defending Nike by any means but I almost feel that a few years ago people were complaining about creasing so much they started using the pleather to do away with most of the creasing anyway. Then the argument turned to "this isn't real leather" blah blah. Point is at the end of the day 8 out of 10 people are going to cop regardless of quality if they like the shoe.

Exactly.  Beside, if this were to end up in a class action lawsuit, who do you all think is going to bear the brunt of the costs?  In the end it is just going to result in another price hike.

Great point. Business is business. Any company who takes a large loss transfers that loss to the customer. They're already testing yearly just to see how much the consumer is willing to pay. The only true way to fight back is to NOT buy.

Jb/Nike doesn't care about your petition even if you got a million signatures

They put out crap products for the most part except for a few nikes and guess what? They still sell out and make billions year after year

I still don't understand the common sentiment that JB/Nike has only started offering products of questionable quality.  Nike has been overcharging products for decades.  This is nothing new.  Shoes were overpriced in the 90s as they are now; og quality was better but not great by any stretch of the imagination.  The only difference I can find is that those who grew up back then now have plenty of disposal income to fulfill their nostalgia.  The other key differences I find are rich kids and opportunistic resellers adding to the hype.

my biggest problem is after 2005   they started releasing the jordan xi in the poorest quality ever if people should stop buying any jordan model it should be that one until they  get it right i laugh because i see certain samples on eBay for upwards  of 7 grand with the same poor quality like who is stupid enough to buy those its time to get it right jordan brand  fix my favorite shoe i cant wear shoes from 2000  forever   :smh:

This. For me it's been ever since the CDP XI. I only say this because I don't remember 05.

Anyways, this is correct. The XIs have been ****** plastic as far as quality.

If we all sign a petition and Nike doesn't give us what we want, what are we going to do? Boycott? thats a laugh

A petition isn't going to do anything. People need to stop buying if they want things to change.

You're missing the point. Jordan Brand flat out lied by making its customers believe they'd get a more refined product by revamping their manufacturing process.

I see his point. Some shoes receive the treatment.....others do not. If you don't like don't buy. And if you order online and don't like, just return them. Stay away from sites that do not accept returns. Many companies do it.

Not meaning to be an *** or anything but, you get what you pay for. Nike know people will buy their products no matter the quality or price.

You mean we don't get what we pay for. Price should be equally proportional to the quality, but we don't get that from Nike.

Yes but when Nike know people will buy their product, why would they care? Only way would be to stop buying their products and wait for them to panic when their sales drop. When Nike release images before the release they're not actual product images, they're prototypes. This was confirmed by a Nike employee.

Really??? Have you ever tried a Beats headphone set? Those are crap for the MSRP yet hype drives the machine. I'll take a pair of retros any day over that trash

Apples to oranges. This is a legal matter. Using false advertising to deceive customers is illegal in the USA. Hence the reason I'm out to take a stand against this injustice.
How is this a legal matter?  Do you have proof that the shoe did not go through the 100 steps of QA or whatever Jordan Brand is stating?  Doesn't look like it to me

exactly.  But for everyone one person who steps back, 10 more are fighting for their spot in raffles, online or whatever

and again, I don't where you have offered proof that theyre manufacturing process hasn't been refined.

If this doesn't deserve an L, then idk what does. Don't like the product? Don't buy the product. Simple as that.

Proof is in the fact my unworn Bordeaux VII's were riddled with defects. If they stuck to the procedure mentioned in that PR story, flaws like that wouldn't have gotten a green light to move onto the next step in production. Creasing out of the box isn't the worst problem, it's the flat spots around the toe box where it should be round. I have three pairs of 2011's, all of them are smoothly rounded. You can't argue facts; Jordan Brand misled their customers.

Difference being, this is the first time Jordan Brand made it sound as if things were actually going to change. False claims were made, customers were deceived. That's illegal.

Here's a thought, look at your sneakers before you purchase them. For every person complaining, theres 1000 other happy customers. I thought the 2015's were better than the 2011's. I've been happy with JB's remastered process.

1000 people don't know any better. When you've experience true quality in the past, and now your succumbed to today's quality, you'd complain too.

I bet there's a lot of loop holes in their "remastered" claim. I mean how do we know what shoe is being remastered and which is not. Did they ever say that from here on out, all retros will be remastered?
