lol good luck with the lawsuit.  Im going to be honest, I don't believe you that the shoes came out of the box creased.  The only way I see that happening is if you bought them from a store and someone there decided to wear them for a shift then sell them to you.

And just because you are unhappy doesn't mean they are lying or deceiving anything.  Quality can still be better but it has improved.  And for a free pair of Chicago 1's Nike can get me on the stand to repeat that.

The simple fact that the craftsmanship is MUCH worse than the three pairs of 2011's I have is proof that things could've been better. I can promise you that these were unworn by me, and still factory laced when I pulled them out of the box. How is the the grey material gonna be so badly creased, but not the black part next to it? There's literally no creasing on that material. As for all the flat spots, there's no excuses, worn or not, that should never make it to the general retail market. I'm going to do a detailed video analysis soon to settle all the debate.

Not really, it completely evades the fact that Jordan lied to its customers. THAT IS NOT LEGAL IN THE USA. Is that really hard to understand?

If this guy has a LEGITIMATE legal background (with physical proof) then I'll be shocked.

Can you prove that they have not used better materials/improved their manufacturing process as a whole?

No, one pair of shoes does not prove that they haven't.

The quality on my shoes was good. I am happy. I don't expect them to be perfect. They're still made by humans in a factory in China for crying out loud.

Why don't you guys leave the man be. You make the stand if he doesn't like the product don't buy it so why don't you take your own advice? You don't believe in his cause but yet your the biggest posters on his thread. You don't support it so don't post take your own advice. Op do you

Again, I bought three pairs of the 2011's, not a single one had flat spots all along the front of the toe box where it meets the rubber sole. My argument stands, if Jordan Brand had kept to its word, I wouldn't have received poorly made shoes for $190. Who's willing to pay for my return shipping to DTLR? Nike sure as hell isn't.

I still don't understand why the poster states with great conviction that Nike has blatantly lied about their practices and then points to a couple pair of shoes in their possession as overwhelming evidence of deception, the smallest sample size imaginable.

Anyway any potential lawsuit does not scare Nike in the slightest, other than violations of labor laws or anything of real economic or criminal importance.  If you are really interested in sticking it to them as a consumer, go BUY their competitors products.  That threatens their business model a lot more than what you are trying to accomplish here.

Out of the hundreds of thousands of pairs made, the OP happened to get a pair (or a few pairs, idgaf) thats he deems "flawed". So this is what happens when a prima donna doesn't get everything to go perfect.

I'm sure you guys have all seen many different people post about some flawed Jordans they purchased. It isn't just the OP complaining about his "10 or so" flawed pairs.

While I don't disagree with the OP, I don't think a petition will have enough - or any - effect on Nike/JB to make any changes.

People have been complaining about jb retros for years. I'd hardly call it a seldom event. Matter of fact as soon as a retro is mentioned the quality is mentioned in the same breath. He's a prima Donna for trying to do something about it lol

Op more power to you. People have been complaining for years and the more they complain nike hikes up the price 30-40% . damn near every review on yt complains about qc but yet every release gets sold out quicker than the previous release with better quality. Of course we can just not buy them but what's that gonna do their still gonna sell out within minutes? You guys gonna knock this man for being proactive to get you a better product, really lol. I'll never never knock someone whose advocating me getting more for my money not less. Like I said before op thumbs up for actually doing something instead of just not buying which does nothing.

Have you contacted Nike about this matter? If you are this dissatisfied then I am sure they will give you a refund. You won't even have to worry about DTLR.

Here's the thing - even if Nike decided to give a 1-1 replica of OG shoes, from the shape to the colors to the actual materials, people will still complain. It's inevitable. We live in a world where anyone can say anything through any number of mediums, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Someone will find something to complain about. People complain about the box the shoe comes in. If that doesn't tell you something about the current state of sneaker culture than I don't know what does.

Then they need to be made elsewhere because I have two pairs and neither one is acceptable nor can I switch pairs because of inconsistencies in the details, so its either return them and forget about wearing a pair of my favorite shoes of all time next to the concords, or wear them and try not to notice all of the misplaced panels and divets in the toe cap on both right shoes. The puffy toeboxes are the least of my concerns. For 200 dollars this is bull, greed is the ONLY reason for all of these jacked up pairs making it to the marketplace.

Nike should do a recall lol. Seriously though, Nike should do a recall.

Also, Jordans should be made in the USA. A lot of problems would disappear for bot Jordan and the consumer. Add 5 dollars to the MSRP to compensate for the domestic employees.

LOL not buying the product does nothing but a petition with 12 signatures on it will definitely change Nikes opinion
