:lol: Parents are allowed to have any gender for their baby in China, you're confusing that with the one child only policy
The problem is that Chinese culture always values the boy more than the girl, and with the one child policy, some pregnant Chinese women would abort their baby if the baby is a female.
It got so bad now that the government is willing to subsidize people who have a daughter.

Something is wrong with these men. How are you proposing to someone and not 100% sure she is on the same page as you? I swear they stage these elaborate proposals in public to force, or shame the woman into saying yes. They figure she won't embarrass them if there is an audience.
 
Dude is lame. He should've asked if she would go out on a date first instead of leaping straight for a proposal. If she views him as a brother then ask if she likes what the Lannisters are into.
