Didn't think Dmo would last this long but I regret taking Morris over Porzingis lol.

Analysis on my team....

Chris Paul, G

While CP3 scores just 18 points per game on efficient shooting, he creates 23.4 points per game by assist -- some four points more than Westbrook, five points more than Curry and LeBron and six points more than Harden. If you add the points scored and points created by assist, he's right in the mix with those four. The only one much higher than CP3's 41 points created and scored per game is Westbrook, who is by far the least efficient scorer of the group.

CP3 also commits far fewer turnovers than the others -- just about two full turnovers fewer than both Westbrook and LeBron, 1.5 fewer than Harden and 0.7 fewer than Curry.

Of Griffin’s 17.4 field goal attempts per game, 9.7 of them come after receiving passes from …. Chris Paul. That’s 32.3 passes per game that Griffin is receiving from the maestro, and over half of his opportunities being created by Paul. On those 9.7 shots per game, Griffin has been 48.6 percent efficient from the floor — very close to his season total of 50 percent.

As Paul’s difference in Assist Ratio and Turnover Ratio is 26.9 this season, it’s psychotic that we forget about his previous seasons. Last year, his difference reached 28.3 before the season ended. In 2012-13, it was 28.2. During his final year in New Orleans (2010-11), he finished with a difference of 29.4 (!).

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, G

A whopping 87% of KCP's catch and shoot opportunities come from behind the arc, and he converts that into a very respectable 38% shooting clip from downtown

Rudy Gay, F

Improved his efficiency in Sacramento. Sacramento career averages of 20.5ppg, 5.7rpg, 3.3apg, 1spg, 46% FG, 56%TS, 19.7 PER, FT rate went from 25% to 36%.

Amir Johnson, F

Most notably, Boston signed big man Amir Johnson -- a perennial RPM darling -- to a two-year, $24 million contract after Toronto decided they could live without his elite offensive efficiency (60.3 true shooting percentage) and cagey interior defense. On the strength of his sterling +3.90 Predictive RPM, Johnson is expected to generate nearly $16 million in surplus value for the Celts over the next two seasons.

Johnson is an excellent pick-and-roll weapon, which could make him a devastating weapon when maestro Isaiah Thomas is the ball handler. Johnson was one of most efficient scorers in 2014-15, ranking 11th in field goal percentage. He also ranked ninth in points per possession as the pick-and-roll screener among players with at least 100 chances, according to Synergy Sports per NBA.com.

Jusuf Nurkic, C

Averaging 15.3 points, 13.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per-36 minutes

The Nuggets go from being one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA when he's off the floor -- with a defensive rating of 110.5 that would be 30th among all NBA teams -- to one of the best when he's on it. Denver's 99.9 defensive rating with Nurkic on the floor would be good for sixth in the league.

When you think about putting Chris Paul in pick n roll situations with Rudy and Amir, having KCP spotting up for catch and shoot 3's and Nurkic being a dog in the paint....its all fits pretty nicely. I have a solid defensive backcourt and should be an elite defensive front court. Hopefully, Nurkic can work on his fouling issues, but we can also play a lot of Gay / Amir combinations as well. I have some good plans for the bench that will make the team even more lethal.
