I guess that's just the difference between basketball and sports like baseball and football.

With baseball you genuinely need an entire team to be successful.  A team could have a great offense, but their starting pitching is horrible so the team is average.  A team could have an amazing starting rotation, but has a bullpen that is awful which causes their team to lose games.   A team's success is reliant on all parts of its team.

Football is the ultimate team sport, so I shouldn't even need to go into it.  You could have a couple transcendent talents on a team, but if the rest of the team sucks, the team wont accomplish anything.

Not the same as basketball at all.  If you have 2 or 3 elite, dominant, or All Star level players, your team will be good.  Maybe not always the best, but good.  THAT is the difference.  in the 8th round of an NBA draft, those players will make a very, very minimal impact on a team.  In a MLB or NFL draft, the 8th round is full of players who will impact a team.

Personally having a lot of fun here, talent or not...

But I can't say I feel differently. The actual draft does feel more frustrating to me than fun now... I don't wanna have to start looking at the Robert Sacres of the world soon (I know there's better names left but I don't wanna name drop, you get my point.)

So yeah I mean that's why I'm posting burger and dog pics and just shooting the Asterisk...

I'm still having fun but the NFL draft felt more enjoyable as an actual draft... Round 10 in and it felt like we were all still drafting studs.

I know the logistics are diff you don't have to remind me. But I'm just saying regardless of the logistics, it felt more enjoyable for a much longer period of time because of how deep the talent FELT.

With that said. I still love these redrafts and I'll be joining the next NBA one with no hesitation :pimp:
 
redrafts are great. bunch of dudes chopping it up about sports without getting into stupid arguments about why kobe is better than lebron.
 
I agree. 50% of why I sign up is to chop it up and have a good time with y'all
