for once, our defense played pretty well, but our offense was horrid. i still think we can finish 8-8 or even 9-7. this next game is very winnable against the also struggling titans. even though we've dropped the last 3 games, im still happy that we've shown progress this season.

I'm not trying to put too much on Murray for not being effective much this season, some times that boy literally has someone in his face when they hand it off...but other times, i feel like he just tip toes too much and doesn't run all that hard. I think those two concussions are messing with him, and i'm not trying to dawg him or anything...two major concussions would do that to anyone...but thats kinda what happens when you run high and you're a taller back like he is...

First time I actually think we need to look at RB during the offseasons too. Inability to run the ball is hurting, especially when we continue to try and run the ball with no success. I think Musgrave and JDR need to accept the fact that we're not setting up the run for the pass...we need to set up the pass for the run.

unfortunately, i agree with you. i really like murray and he has the size, speed, and vision to be a really good back. he just needs to learn how to run more effectively. he's still young, but very inconsistent at this point.

Did anyone else think Khalil shined way more in the 4-3 OLB position?

Per BleacherReport:

There are mixed opinions about Mack’s transition from outside linebacker to defensive end. He still ranks as the best run-stopper at his position, but his play jumped off the screen on Sunday.

The broadcasters announced Mack as a starting outside linebacker in a 4-3 base defense. Rookie Mario Edwards Jr. and Denico Autry started the game as the defensive ends.

Maybe it’s a coincidence, but Mack’s play escalated to another level from the first whistle. He led the defense with eight tackles and charged into the backfield for several stops at or behind the line of scrimmage.

Assisted blocks on Mack allowed other defensive linemen to rush the pocket, leading to four sacks and four quarterback hits.

I prefer Mack standing up too I was just talking to my cousin and brother about that a week ago. He's just so dominant back there.

Mack is an OLB. I hated the idea of making him a DE. Mack plays better when you move him around. Not allowing the offense to isolate him. Yesterday's game he played like his rookie year. Causing havoc and filling in the stat sheet. He needs to play the hybrid LBer. By moving him around it allowed others to make plays.

I absolutely cannot, I mean CANNOT root for the punk Patriots buut with a Bills loss tonight, we'll b one game out from the second wildcard spot.

Ball is not practicing. I was hoping we put a claim for Coples. Have him play DE since we now run a 4/3 D.
