Funny how people love this shoe......but don't really care for the family 1's and the materials are very similar
 
holy **** those look bad. fancy looking laces, leather lining, and a cheap *** looking canvas upper? I don't see the appeal. slap Eminem on it and "whoa those are fresh!"

Those blue 4s are pure hype. Didnt find them appealing 10 years ago and still feel the same way :\

I liked them years ago and I like them now even though I knew I wouldn't own them then and years later still don't expect to ever own as I would NEVER pay resell for these. Still a nice spin on the 4.

It's funny though, when I say I love 4s like the Oreos, Cool Greys, and even the Columbias I get no flack but i f I ever say I love the Eminem 4s or UnDFTD 4s because of their actually creative color combos I get called a hypebeast ONLY because both shoes fetch a completely unaffordable resell value.

Hypebeast gets thrown around too loosely on Nike talk :lol:

This! For some reason, I like the odd color or odd material concepts. I like being different than having the same white, black or red shoe. But, the color concept have to also flow. Those pro star 5's were pure HORRIBLE!
 
I was referring to the shoes. You're the one calling yourself a hypebeast :\

IMO if you take away the Eminem branding the masses wouldn't look at them twice.

Those undefeated 4s are butter tho :smokin with or without the hype :lol:

EM/UnNDFT were different back then it wasn't often we got solid color shoe with those materials.

One of my all-time favorites are the undefeated iv's and it sucks knowing I'll never own them unless their reps smh

I completely agree with the basis of your post, although I find those blue Eminems to be hideous. but the undftd are real nice. But yeah when someone likes something that has hype or stupid resell price (along with a crazy/different color scheme) its automatic for hypebeast comments.

oh well is what it is

It's funny b/c I remember back in the day you could buy UNDFT 4's for like 3k and Eminem's for around 5k, I thought that was f*cking insane for a shoe (still do.) Now I look at the prices they're going for and it's just absolutely absurd. I'm a huge Jordan / Eminem fan so naturally I love the Eminem 4, they call him elvis and he hits em w/ those blue suede shoes LOL.

Low numbers are even kinda high these days. True limited Jordans are dead. Have you guys been paying attention the sh*t people are calling "limited" lately? 313 pairs, now that's LIMITED.
