Arian Foster Let It Be Known That He Is A Non-Believer

Let's see if the "accepting" trend still works
but on the real....

it could get VERY interesting if michael sam was accepted and foster is not.

not saying it will/will not, but if we talking religion  the two situations are almost hand in hand.

Yall taking that statement seriously....really??
On the cool, this lets me know he aint even tried understand relgion in the least bit.

Its cool to be an Athiest because you understand the actual purpose if religion and dont need it, its another thing if you just dont want to go to church.

God controls all right? His statement is absolutely true if you believe in God.

God has all power, but that's not how it works. He doesn't make this happen or that happen, he simply allows the time to take it's course. and what happens, happens. He doesn't operate on the plane of comprehension that we do, so it makes sense of the idea of him and his actions is confusing.

First of all he's out of line for even comparing the freaking outcome of football game to world hunger. I understand he's a pro football player and they take football that seriously...

Secondly, the first thing they teach is God is everywhere. Like, bruh don't even grasp the concept of a god.

If he is an atheist, he's the first one I know of that hasn't stood on the highest building on earth letting everyone know everyday, like crossfitters and vegans.
 this reminds me of that joke. "How do you tell if someone runs marathons? Don't worry they'll tell you"

See my experiences are Jesus freaks always preaching to people, atheists tend to keep it to themselves at least in my experiences or they may mention it casually and that's it

Atheists>Jesus Freaks

ehh, both can be *****. both can be cool.

it is kind of weird to not believe in anything though. No higher power of any kind. To just assume that you're the pinnacle. But you have no power and created none of the beauty on earth, nor have complete control over it. to just believe in nothing, in a sense, you're making yourself your God, since you're saying there's nothing greater than you.

So when Christians say God sends natural disasters to people for not giving him the level of praise/worship/respect he demands, they have it backwards?

So because you don't believe in a higher powers means you must believe you (your human race) is the pinnacle? Why does that have to be the only mindset of one that doesn't believe?

I think my views come from this one huge Jesus freak at my 1st job, always preaching how great God is and he has a plan for her and it will be okay

God didn't tell you take 25 smoke breaks a day, God didn't tell you to not return phone calls, God didn't tell you show up late regularly. I seriously wanted to tell her **** and God's plan is for her not to suck at her job :x

That's another thing. Why is it that God never tells people that they need to get in better shape? Every Bible THUMPER I know is very out of shape. But when I hit them with the, "But your body is supposed to be your temple" they have nothing to say

He does punish some, Sodom & Gomorra, the rain in Noah's story, etc. But often what is misconstrued as punishment, is just something he allowed, a stray bullet, a car accident, etc. Many times things that happen in our lives are not to hurt us, but to bring us closer to him. He does hate idolatry though. You look and see some of the worst natural disasters happen in countries with a different belief system than christianity. I'm not saying there's direct correlation, I have no idea, but there can be some dots connected.

if there is no higher power, if there is no one over you, then it's just you correct? You're the Chairman and the CEO.

if god made me, he made me an atheist...which means he's not very good at his job.

We're a just few generations away from "god" being dead.
My thing is, if God KNEW that "Lucifer" would eventually turn heel, why shouldn't I believe this isn't one big storyboard?

You knew dude was going to double cross you, yet you created him anyway?

Why?
