Yasiin Bey(Formerly known as Mos Def) issued a battle challenge to any and everyone whos dares to accept it.

Yasiin states that Him, Black Thought and , King Los would destroy anyone in a Rap Battle.



Almost as soon as the challenge was issued,
Chicago emcee Lupe Fiasco accepted it , even spit a preview, in it dissing Drake.
"If Mos wanna battle, he can get whiff of the wrath, and I'm behind all these bars don't need to tap Miller for some genuine drafts... Drake hive thought that was a diss, but it's clear that its not. Besides everybody knows that you never put beer in a shot." -

Black thought was super nice prior undun Lp , He had that rawcore uncontested forever prior that undun. Yasiin is a concious Beast, one the best street poets/Lyricists,and imo currently the best emcee still doing it.
King Los ,Im not to impressed with, although he does spit concious, hes not as skilled as his teamates.

Lupe is better than King Los, but he aint messing with Black, or Yasiin.

Im curious who ,if anyone, Lupe recruits on his end to side with him.

Yasiins "Time is always now" had heat, last good mastered track was "Lets Go",then recently he spit this right here , No denying its nice-> ..

Black Thought Came with it on that J.Period/J.Brown set.

Agreed,^ Daylyts all gimmicks and props, every here and again he'll speak on some relevance, but for the most part he aint far off from the likes of ppl like rone.
 
Get either/or T-Top , Charlie clips, Dizaster, Aye Verb ,siding with Lupe, and Mos/Thought/Los got their hands full.
 
Los is nice free styling, I haven't seen too many cats that can flip it that quickly off the top of the some but yeah, nobody's messing with Black Thought. I never thought of Mos as a battle rapper simply cause his songs are often more content and context than battle raps and braggadocio but I do think he's underrated as an MC. I just think a lot of his stuff since Black on both sides goes off the deep end a little. Why he look like somebody's Jamaican Auntie selling bootleg glasses outside the E train though?
