R.I.P. Sean Price

Huge loss for the Hip-Hop world. This dude had bars for days and that rugged rap that people just don't have anymore. Nocturnal one of my favorite albums of all time and the best Duck Down project of all time. He'll definitely be missed.
 
Man, deaths in the music community make me sad in general but this one really hurts. I really loved P, between the lyrics and his actual self (at least what I picked up from interviews and his Twitter), Sean was the ******* man and kept it 100 always. One of the last real ones gone.

same here. when robin williams or paul walker passed it didnt phase me but sean p one of my fav rappers ever. this one got to me . i guess cause im  not a big movie guy but im a huge rap fan. like music more then i like movies.

Robin bummed me out just with how he went out and the movies I'm attached to with him in it; dude was a big part of my childhood and a few darker films that I loved when I got older like Death to Smoochie and One Hour Photo. Outside of that the last few celebrity deaths that hurt me the most were Lord Infamous, Michael Jackson and ODB. so I feel you on that. I may be forgetting someone but those are the ones that come to mind first.

That Seanwaur clip literally made me shed a few tears.

Was Sean's wife Bill Danze's sister? He posted something like that in regards to the funding on MOP's FB but I didn't know if he was talking blood sister or not.
 
I'm very biased, but I always thought Nocturnal was the best album out of the BCC camp. RIP to Ruck aka Sean Price :smh:

Yeah, that D.I.R.T. album was incredibly overlooked.  Definitely some jams on there.  

And to anyone who hasn't yet, check out the Random Axe album.  Flames.  
 
I remember having DIRT playing in my dorm back in 08 and 09, and people not knowing what the hell it was :lol:
 
I've played Monkey Barz probably 10 times the past week... This **** still hurts me... I think P is the first artist to die where it really hurts me... I'm 27 and been messing with him since GTA3... There's been lots of rappers who have come n gone in that time... But no one I was a huge fan of... People like Dilla I became big fans of, but their death was a catalyst for seeking out their stuff... But P was different... I actually bought his stuff, and I don't really do that to be honest... His stuff made me happy to listen to... It illicted emotion outta me whether humor aggression or whatnot...

I'll miss P a lot... I already do... It sucks... He died on my birthday too :smh:...
 
Damn man, I just heard this news from The Roots on the tonight show of all places.

:smh: So ****** up. Hits me harder being 6 days late on this news.

At least from what I've read he aint go out painfully. Too soon though. Too soon.
