MOST teenage boys love to run around and play – but ‘Butterfly Boy’ Jonathan’s skin is so delicate it falls away at the slightest knock. Fourteen year-old Jonathan Pitre, from Russell, Canada, lives in constant pain as 90% of his skin blisters and peels from his body - making it look as if he has third degree burns. The excruciating pain is so bad he has constant headaches and nausea, and often spends nights awake in agony. Helpless mum Tina Boileau, 35, has to watch her son writhe in pain as she wraps him from head to toe in bandages to ensure he doesn’t get infections.

Reminds me of people that are allergic to water. It sucks and there is nothing we (modern medicine) can do about it.

Wow man. **** this video got to me. Here I am complaining about the dumbest things. This kid is amazing and a better man than me. I really wouldn't be able to do what he's done and is doing.

Also shout out to that mother :pimp: she's awesome.

I'll be working 40 hours this week :pimp:
Coming home to my old man after work everyday.
2 parents and an entire family that loves me.

Let's make the best of our situation NT :pimp:

*sheds a thug tear*

Seeing stuff like this legit makes me tear up now that I have a young kid. Like I was watching the Special Olympics last week and was just in awe of the strength, determination and positive attitudes of the athletes. Same goes for their families who dedicate their lives to helping them.

This kind of stuff really makes you put the health of your family in perspective. To have a perfectly healthy 4-year old is a true blessing that I often take for granted. Much love to the kids and parents dealing with disease and sickness--that's gotta be one of the toughest things ever.

Makes you appreciate your life. The kid and mom are strong.

I just wish we lived in a world where we could ease that kid's suffering. It sucks to gain perspective through means of other people's sufferings. :frown:

Where is the dad? But wow. This really opens your eyes and makes you see how good you have it. I was so impressed at the end that he still keeps a positive attitude in life and wants others to be happy. Really inspiring. Eyes got legit watery.

Kid is a warrior. I would have checked out mentally and physically.

Talk abouy painful erections dam.

Sometimes I swear kids are tougher than adults. Having to start out life like that? You learn to roll with the punches. Doesn't make it any easier, it's an amazing thing.

I think when your a kid, you don't know any better but to keep on waking up and live. As you get older you pick up these lame expectations and rules that society wants to you to believe. This creates a weak mindset. I'm working on this as we speak, trippin off these first world problems

damn  man, reminded me of this video i seen recently  of this little girl who was allergic to the sun and didnt find out til she was like 7 or something.

the constant pain is so much to overcome, we dont know how to deal with something like that on a daily basis....

Stuff like this ALWAYS puts things instantly in perspective for me. That is an AMAZING kid. Tough as nails. Mother and Sister are some MVP's too :pimp:

When I read the title "Butterfly Boy", I was expecting something like that lil "Princess Boy" a few years ago .

Gotta come up with a stronger nickname or just simply call him by his name lol.

Smh I really gotta start being more grateful about life man. I can't imagine how bad that must be for the lil dude. Wow..

This boy is a inspiration! Hope there's a miracle in his future, and he lives to experience everything he wishes.
