Has anyone ever fell out of love with a grail?

As this Black Friday release draws near it got me thinking. The Aquas VIII's being my favorite shoe of all time, I just came to the realization I'm just not excited about them retroing again. I've downsized considerably over the years, and had two pairs of the 07' release that have long come and gone, but I just can't fathom copping or even wearing a third pair. Has anyone ever felt this way about their favorite shoe? Would you just rather live with the memories?

 You can wear Jeans and a black t-shirt til you're 75, and Aquas look great w/ that fit.

the 2015 aquas look closer to the ogs than the 2007 retros.
alone the lace loop connected to the velcro strap is shaped like the ogs (finally).
2007 retros had bad paint job which cracked and chipped easily.

I always wanted a pair of Miro 7s. I finally held a pair at a sneaker show and just wasn't feeling them.
