as much as i like his older stuff Mase needs to stop making music in general, dude really ruined himself going from Pastor back to Murda Mase. it just doesn't work that way.

mase had too much money and fame at a young age with no guidance, i would be confused too

 Stop it Mason

I used to hate Mase. I hated that pop shiny suit ****. I never felt he repped Harlem right and wasn't a good look, and Harlem World was the low point.

Sons time is up. He's pump faked too much and his fan base doesn't care about him anymore.

He's done all right on features

laid back flow, made a living off songs for the females, only difference is fab had more of a street image

and lets not act like jay didnt try to take mase lane with the sunshine video

That was more Bad Boy and Puff.

Fab did songs with a female singing the hook(Ashanti, Lil Mo, Tamia). That was a 90's NY staple to get radio play. Another thing Mase didn't really do. His only single doing it was Feels So Good. Bad Boy got radio play from using past popular hit samples. Bad Boy did the uptempo club thing. Again, not Fab's lane.

Pop and crossover rap, i.e. radio music is designed for women.

Ma$e had a huge male fanbase in NY. His music was a little pop though. That was Puff's fault.

I was hyped when he came back with G Unit. The few songs and features sounded good. He's done now. That's it.

Harlem World is one of my favorite albums.

Lol at him recording "gotta matic in my attic you want me to grab it" before the 8 AM service. This dude is foul.

He's a legend?

I thought dude was corny and wack
hes corny now, but you cant deny his longevity, especially with how trash the ny scene has been these past couple of years,

hes probably the only rapper besides jay from that early 2000s era still relevant musically
