Wow, "Rugrats" and "Doug" first aired 24 years ago today on Nickelodeon!

But this is a Retro Post I can get down with. I grew up a Nick dude, didn't have DIsney. I always thought there was  Ford vs. Chevy battle for child viewership between the two. DC Cable Vision didn't get Disney until like 95?

Me either. I relished on the Disney free previews w/ Tale Spin and Duck Tales but moms wasn't springing extra for Disney and I honestly didn't miss it. Viacom came through w/ Nickelodeon. Stick Stickly was that dude, he was the inanimate Hits from the Street

I was 2 months old lol
Didn't get down with the shows till about 95/96 but still appreciated :pimp:

My dude Thomas Pickles leading his squad. Phil and Suzzie were real ones. Phil and Lil were da goon squad [emoji]128514[/emoji]. No fear from dem twins.

Douglas Yancey was a cool dude but da real MVP was my dude Chalky. Chalky leading all da squads in points, rebounds, assists, steals, touchdowns, you name the sport Chalky was a beast.

i feel old as **** since these were my two favorite shows growing up. Waking up on saturday to watch cartoons >

shout out to all my dudes that aint have cable growin up.

No it doesn't. It moves at a constant rate.

But yea, Peep Hey Dude had some girls man
Dina still looks fly.

Correction: She was from Salute Your Shorts. You guys need to check that show out.

Also, Doug is streaming on Amazon Prime...But they have the new intro music when Disney bought out the show...Not the OG. =(

The 90's had the best sitcoms and Cartoons, EVER! Quote me on that! Everything was so creative and original.

Speaking of Kel, he's back on Nickelodeon hosting a new show I think. Good to see him back on TV.
