heggsy heggsy makes this happen...

I've put plenty of bets out here on the table... Like last year when I said, "If Porto beat Bayern, three of y'all meet me downtown and I'm buying dinner, Coke, prositutes, and scotch..." And when I was living in Miami I said, "If thr Knicks win this series, I'm flying 3 dudes from the NYK 's thread to Miami so we can rage" (maybe some of my Knicks brotheram who participate in this thread can back me up.)

After Porto beat Bayern 3-1 the first game, I was ready, the Coke connect was out on high alert (37 a gram, don't mess with me bruh, I got it like that) , dinner reservations were being made at my favorite French restaurant, 15 year old Macallan bottles of scotch were about to be popped.......

............ But then the gods, these dimwited footballing gods played a cruel, cruel joke on me, the next game.

Heggsy I'm expecting something special like this from you.

:nerd: :nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

Can confirm.

You'd think the new 5th highest paid player on the planet would look a little happier...

Arsenal fans slightly over reacting. Still in the hunt imo
Tottenham looking good. Deli Alli has impressed me i didn't know why he was being gassed up like he was early in the season...but dude can ball

This weekend's game is exciting City vs HeggsyFC

When aren't Gooners overreacting?

If you had them tell it,the league was all but wrapped up at New Years

Speaking of Alli, here's a rather stunning stat about his PL start...

Spurs have some of the best young English talent in the game.

I wanted to ask this yesterday but I forgot about it,who do you guys see leading the line for the 3 Lions in France? Hurrikane or Mr get banged?

Oh I know he's forsure gonna start but I feel like he'd be better at the 10 spot. That allows for a younger/pacier striker like either of the 2 up top

The way the English are with Rooney reminds me of the way Argentinians were with Riquelme. The fans and the media loved him so much that they would basically force the national team manager to start him even though he was way past his prime. There was a huge outcry in the country when he was dropped from the national side during the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.

I can confirm the fans most definitely don't love him  they appreciate his contribution to England, but I'm pretty sure 90% of England fans are fully aware that Rooney is way past his prime, despite his form in the last few games.

Should be Vardy up top

Or whoever gels better in practice

oh **** yea, in this form he definitely deserves to start. i would have kane behind him instead of roo but i doubt that will happen

Famb must think Chelsea have Jesus Christ himself negotiating transfers.
No not really, Atletico can't stop Griezmann from leaving, he only has a 65m release clause. Simeone has already stated that they only striker he wants is Costa. Chelsea view Griezmann as the perfect replacement for Hazard.

but why would griez leave to a club that will be looking to fight for a european spot next season when he's already playing with a great club who fights against barca/madrid for the domestic title and in a squad that could get themselves into at least the quarter-finals of the CL for the next 3-5 years. He's a key player there and can be effective in the hole or the wing if not placed at striker

same reason why most players leave for England, bigger wages. As good as run Atletico is having, they can never compete with Real or Barca in the long run. We seen players like Aguero, Falcao, Costa all leave

this is true, but i feel atletico can just easily extend his contract and up his wages. I just think simeone values griez for his squad enough to not let him leave

THey already did this over the summer. They increased his buyout from 45 to 65. As much as Atletico loves him, they could use the money to buy more younger players n make the team stronger. Griezmann will join a English club or PSG in the summer
