Haven't heard of much news ever since that unofficial "referendum" a month or 2 ago but I did read that the president of Ligue 1 would be on board with allowing Barca to join if they were ever forced to leave La Liga due to Catalan independence.

:wow: that would be unreal. Probably the first time in history something like that happens. I doubt anything will come of this though. Spain is just going to tell Catalonia to sit down and they will until the next referendum.

Benzema really thinks he's about that life. Really out here extorting people trying to get his boys some paper  :smh:

It would probably be unprecedented yea,I don't see Barca leaving La Liga in any case though tbh. Even if Catalonia did get their independence,I still think they'd be able to compromise. There's way too much history and money to be kept by keeping Barca. La Liga without El Clasico wouldn't be La Liga man :smh:

Speaking of Ronnie, the Spanish media is really starting to roll out the Ronnie exit rumors...

Last week it was PSG and today Marca had a piece on the possibility of Ronnie to MU . Where there's smoke...:nerd:

I'll believe Ronnie leaving Madrid when I see him in a PSG shirt (or United shirt again), until then i'm barely paying attention to these rumors.

Welp I'm really glad Benz never wanted to leave Madrid for us now lmao

We need him back asap. Him, Ox and Bellerin should all be fit for WBA. They're much needed. Can't wait until everyone is fit. Hopefully Jack can play the second half of the season with no issues
this interlull came at the best time for those injuries, and especially for not being a minimum of 3 months lol (crossing my fingers walcott wont face that from the lack of update) Was mostly bummed that OX got knocked literally at the very second he had the chance to gain some form and rhythm with ramsey out, all he needs is consistent playing time but that'll be tough after the break, but thats a very welcomed problem. On Gnabry, im not worried at all from the reports from WBA, he was always very promising when he got time with us, plenty of pace and strength, was always an attacking threat as shown by NEWGODFLOW up there, i can definitely seem him breaking in as one of our future true wingers, at least i hope so lol. On wilshere, man 100% word, i really hope this injury will be the requirement filled for this season lol he was really rounding out and solidifying himself as a bona-fide starter these last two seasons when healthy. **** McNair forever b

I will never forget that crucial and clinical finish by Gnabry vs Swansea... Then he got hurt
Don't forget that pass he had to Cazorla in the FA Cup against Sp*rs. WBA was a bad loan move. Tony Pulis always disliked Arsene Wenger as well. He may be too technical and less Orc-like for his liking.

Same here.  I believe he'll stay at Real until the end.  But every night before bed, I pray to baby jesus he comes back to Manchester United. LOL

Ronaldo to the Red Jaguars.
Messi to the Blue Baracuddas.
Continue the duels in Orlando.

Ronaldo to my pickup team
Messi to my homeboys team
Continue the duels at a park in Atlanta.

Hate you guys

I mean it would be in line with the other rumours of Perez wanting to overhaul of some of his stars next summer. Benz is apparently another name that's been linked with an exit unsurprisingly given the latest damning news about the Valbuena case

Ronaldo to the Empire
Messi to the Rebels
Continue the duels in a galaxy far, far away.[/quote]

Anyone watching the US vs Brazil U23 match right now? Crazy how much more talent Brazil has at this level.

I've been underwhelmed by Julian Green too, has the touch of Rooney right now :smh:

Have any of you guys been paying attention to the recent developments on Catalonia's bid to secede from Spain? Apparently it might have major implications on La Liga, among other things of course.

Not trying to be a douche Trey, but yes this topic has came up alot. Especially during every September when Catalan National day is in full effect and 1 million people are out there holding hands from each side of the Catalan borders.

The Catalans are doing everything they can from bidding, lobbying, public polling, protesting, and challenging for the referendum to be voted on. But they always run into a HUGE road block, the high Spanish courts - it's against the law to break away according to the (The Spanish Constitution) - the Spanish government know that. They'll ride with that until the wheels fall off because they know if they allow Catalonia to vote on the referendum - the Catalans will win in a lannnnndslide.

It's interesting stuff, this news is ongoing and will not go away anytime soon - but yes we have talked about Barca being Ligue 1. It just wouldn't feel right :x :x :x - But lets say the Catalans get independence, La Liga will do everything they can to keep them but most importantly for us Footy fans is...."EL CLASICO" will be 10x more epic than it already is :wow: :wow: :pimp:
