I was reading an article about why Klopp to Liverpool should be amazing for The Prem and saw this video

If I were in Liverpool's shoes, I would take Ancelotti and break bread for transfers.

Klopp sounds exciting because we all think of the glory years of BVB. But realistically, he's had 2 titles, and one CL final. Ancelotti's resume is much more superior.

Klopp's recent performance at BVB before quitting was terrible. Word is, he even lost the dressing room. Carlo won La Decima before leaving.

He will also be able to attract names, something that Liverpool is in desperate need of.

Side note, there's also a Liverpool fans wet dream floating around of bringing Carlo in and Gerrard back from the US to try a LVG x Giggsy approach.

I really doubt that Carlo would take the job without CL footy guarantees. The reason why Klopp seems like such a good fit is that his style is unorthodox and he could bring in a whole new direction for the club which it desperately needs. What he achieved at BVB was no small feat when competing with Bayern. I don't buy the lost locker room stories though since almost everyone of his players, including just about all the stars, had nothing but praise for him when he left. They were just cursed with key injury after injury for most of last season on top of their poor start and key departures.

Carlo imo has always been gifted with strong squads and endless transfer budgets,I really doubt he'd be have the patience to sign up for what's really a rebuilding project at 'Pool. Feel like Klopp would relish a real challenge like 'Pool a lot more than Carlo.

I feel like Chelsea should look at Carlo again if they ever do sack Mou after the season.

Whoever FSG does settle on,they'll have to give him their full backing and get rid of the bogus "transfer committee" politics and give whoever is in charge full control of transfers.

Carlo isn't going to pool . Carlo is a great tournament coach and above average season coach. For example, he seems to always more more efforts towards's winning the CL than the league, like he did with RM when they won la decima. Plus Ancelotti doesn't rotate that much. During tournament's it's fine but with a hectic PL schedule is very daunting. And pool aren't CL caliber.

I hear you on those CL guarantees and I think that's one of the largest stumbling blocks for getting Carlo, the other would be not necessarily the transfer budget but the way FSG handles transfer by not giving the manager 100% control. Klopp would be an interesting choice. As I said though, for me Carlo would be the better choice, but I can see the value in a Klopp appointment.

With tv EPL teams have I don't see why transfer budget is even an issue especially for teams like Arsenal and Liverpool

Just checked the Serie A table and man...wth happened to Juve?? They're in 12th place :wow: :wow: :wow:. I mean I get that they lost the likes of Tevez,Pirlo and Vidal but they also brought in some good players over the summer. No way should their quality of play have dropped off this drastically this soon...

I don't think the budget is the issue, it's who is making the decisions....even with tons of money you can't afford to buy the wrong players cause it will set you back when your stuck with gold covered ish. Nobody wants gold covered ish.

Pogba needs to go to Arsenal. Unlike at Barca, he'd be the main man. Empty that warchest, Wenger.

Still gonna need him to take his time but WOW that was fast.. I thought he wouldn't be back at Carrington until next year...

This should offer a nice morale boost for the squad after yesterdays humiliation

I'm really praying he's not rushing back. We've seen what happens when young talent gets rushed back... :smh:

Yea he's waaaay too valuable to the clubs future to rush back and thankfully LVG seems to know that but it's still encouraging seeing him so motivated to come back this season. We'll just have to do with what we have in the meantime. I really hope those Rojo fallout rumours are BS given that we're already badly undermanned at the back...

Maybe I am delusional but I've never been somewhat impressed by Luke Shaw... He's just a quick, somewhat skilled outside back....
