Speaking of Belgium,Anderlechts starlet Youri Tielmens had himself a pretty good game against Spurs. You're usually pretty in tune with young talents,is he the next big thing coming out of Belgium?

LVG apparently wants Hurrikane as well but I haven't been sold on him yet...Ross Barkley is a way better natural successor to Roo than him imo

*Europa League replays on this morning on FSPlus

Ross Barkley would be a better fit overall on United, can slot him right in as the central attacking mid. Don't need Martial getting outshined by the next English supernova, people will make that a competition

You guys think Adnan is part of the future plans? I bet Dortmund ends up buying him after the loan.

Ah, good idea, Flyeed. I haven't thought of that one.

COULD MESSI LEAVE BARCA?

Guillem Balague has been speaking to Sky Sports News HQ after reports in today’s papers that Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are trying to persuade Lionel Messi to leave Barcelona.

Balague interviewed Messi earlier this week and said: “He was very ambiguous, he said I live by the moment and my moment now is Barcelona.

“He’s been there a long time, it’s his life, he’s got it all set up there…But the fact that one of the reported teams approached him and his representatives twice in the last week suggests something is going on.

“The receptions have been interesting because it has been like ‘OK, we are listening, what do you have to say?’. It doesn’t mean he is coming, but it means he is open to the idea, which you couldn’t have said two or three years ago.

“How to convince Messi goes beyond what you can do money wise. It has be a project to win, perhaps with a manager that he would be comfortable with, but he's in a situation where he is very unhappy with the tax case and also maybe a new maturity with two kids where perhaps he wants to learn another language.

"It’s a few things that make the proposition attractive but doesn’t mean he is going to go."

MONEY MIGHT BUY YOU STONES...

Everton are reportedly looking to tie down defender John Stones with an improved deal.

According to the Daily Mail, the Toffees have made an initial approach to Stones to "renegotiate the terms of his contract".

Stones was a transfer target for Chelsea in the summer but the Toffees rejected all approaches from the Premier League champions.

He has three-and-a-half years remaining on his current deal.

FIORENTINA WANT FALCAO?

Fiorentina are apparently one of a number of European clubs interesting in signing Radamel Falcao in January.

The Colombian has failed to impress on a season-long loan with Chelsea and the Daily Mirror claim the Premier League champions might be willing to let him leave.

Fiorentina, Valencia, Villarreal and Porto are said to be interested, although any deal would need clearance from his parent club Monaco.

Depends on how well he does at BVB,there's no option to- buy after from what I've read but that could probably change. I'd like to see him stay on since he's one of the longest lasting members of the academy still involved with the team. He'd be part of a solid *** group of young players if he stays. I wouldn't mind him staying at Dortmund if that makes it easier to get Reus or Spiderman Yeng

Bet you're right though, the British press would probably always be making comparisons between Barkley and Martial

So the Chinese president, Xi Jinping, is apparently a United fan but the Manchester city counselor who organized his trip to the city is a Citeh fan so he ended up getting a tour of the Emptihad instead of OT

Not too surprised to hear those rumours if they're true, the Spanish Gov has been on a crusade against Barca's stars it seems.

Its like seeing Kobe going to the eastern conference and playing for the Bulls or Knicks :x

Wait nobody else looked at that Schweinsteiger story. Whole thing is straight lulz. I'm not gunna front too, I've joked around before that Schweinsteiger has that Nazi leader blood . Toni Kroos too.

You dudes need to look at that article though there are 2 gems of lines in there

If we could withstand MJ in a Wiz jersey than we can withstand Messi in other colours . It'll definitely be weird as hell though but down to see how he does in another league.

Holy smoke. I got curious about the Schweinsteiger story. They actually named the doll Bastian.

"We don't sell any figures which resemble footballers. It is a complete coincidence that the figure 'Bastian' looks like Schweinsteiger," a spokesman said.

"We thought that all Germans look like that. Bastian is also a very common name in Germany."

I wouldn't call him the next big thing. But he's in the next wave of young attacking talent. Along with Dennis Praet and Zakaria Bakkali.

#MessiForMLS
he would drop 30+ goals a season easily

"We thought that all Germans look like that."
Bro when I read this it felt like they were getting revenge against white people saying they all look the same for years

Yea if Messi could drop 40 in La Liga I don't see what would stop him from dropping at least that amount in MLS

. Giovinco got 20 goals and 15 assists with relative ease, just imagine la Pulga
