This. The hype was annoying and unfounded. Had dudes in here saying he could reach Messi status. It's gratifying to seem him be mediocre.

me and @ChampCruThik had been talking about him for a few years now before anybody else. We didn't hype him up, hype all started when the rumors of United signing him caught fire.

Do you know how hard it is to make it as a pro footballer at any level of the game? If he is so trash and mediocre how come you guys are not playing top flight football? Or at least football in the second or third division? I'll wait......

Every player is different and needs time to adjust accordingly to a new league.

Yea I'll admit that I got carried away lumping them with Pool but they're still hugely underachieving with all that world beating talent

Unless I'm missing something, the last title they actually won was the first edition of the Confederation's Cup in 1992. It was called the King Fahd Cup, and there were only 4 teams in it. The other 3 were the Ivory Coast, USA, and Saudi Arabia. So that doesn't count

All the best national sides go through droughts. It took Brazil 19 years to win another international title after the 1970 World Cup.
