I misremembered that Portugal lost in Euro '04,thought they won it...my mistake. I caught myself though, you can calm your salty self down

I'm calm. I like you too man. I take our little arguments in this thread as nothing but friendly squabbles between passionate football fans. Ya'll make it seem like I'm constantly wiping tears off my keyboard or something

dudes like

I was referring to Rolaholic's post right above mine. Before he edited his post he said that Portugal has won more titles than Argentina recently. Sorry you mistook my post as taking shots at you. I like you Coupe, you're good peoples in my book.

Opps, my bad. I got wild confused too. Ignore everything I said then.

Except the Memphis stuff. Wayne Rooney deserves way more criticism as far as United players go.

International break really is getting everybody testy, add that to the fact the US loss against Mexico - **** is tense brahhhhh

PS - Don't remind me of the Portugal 2004 Final loss, ya'll have no idea. Tears were shed, blood was spilled, baby's were thrown away - it was suppose to cap Porto just winning the Champions League and finally giving Portugal a trophy :smh:

I remember that 04 era template Nike made for all their international squads. Had that circle around the numbers, what was Nike thinking with that design?

The MU fitted is copped.

I'm hearing rumors about Aubameyang joining Pool on one site and hearing Rolls Reus joining Pool on another. :nerd:

Only see maybe Gundogan and Subotic joining Liverpool if anyone was to leave Dortmund.. Lucas Leiva has to go, dude is trash..

Yea last I read Barca was interested in Aubameyang and Rolls Reus was leaning towards Madrid ,not sure how legit that is though as usual...

I doubt any of the big hitters at BvB would join Klopp in England but guys like NGF mentioned sure.

On a level of Arsenal (Dirty Cheap) & Man City (Printing Money)... Does the Fenway Sports Group lean one way or the other? They're willing to spend right? I don't know **** about them. I feel like they're willing to spend the money but they just weren't able attract top players anymore.

If my assumption is correct and they're willing to bring out the Brinks Trucks, now that they have a competent Manager who can attract players - Liverpool really have a chance to succeed. If Klopp just decides to bring in the best German Players in the Bundesliga (that aren't on Bayern) that's a whole lot of talent. Talent runs real deep in the Bundesliga, Germany can field like 4-5 national teams

Gundogan would flourish at Liverpool. I still remember that 4-1 win Dortmund had against Real Madrid where he outclassed the entire Real midfield

Klopp could poach some of the youth guys/future replacements and have 'Pool ready within a year or two. Or like I said before, the unheard guys that Munich/Dortmund/Leverkusen would probably buy after some seasoning

FSG has the Brinks trucks at their disposal but it's just that their transfers in the past have been influenced by this "committee" that has final say on signings and seems to get certain players more for marketing reasons than footballing reasons. Rogers had the unenviable task of having to manage a squad without having full control over who they bought  :x. Apparently Klopp said that he would have final say on all signings when he was introduced so it looks like FSG learned their lesson. Doubt he would've taken the job if he had to deal with the club politics when it comes to transfers.

Speaking of Rogers...

Liverpool ownership has the money to spend, they just haven't spent it well as Rolaholic just noted above. Hearing names like Reus and Aubameyang is great and I'm optimistic about Klopp's ability to bring in talent, but I'm going to temper my expectations for now.

Dudes been putting most of the current and former players on to his 5 cap brand . He has some major competition now

Two things happened that year preventing that squad from winning the CL:

1. Ibra and Pep hated each other
2. Mou parked the bus
