To add to the random facts:

Thomas Müller this season for club and country:

5 games
8 goals
3 assists

The dude is EVERYWHERE....

Hes been one of the most consistent players in the world since 2010,hope he eventually decides he wants a challenge elsewhere. I'd love to see him an Spain/England

 @ Casillas calling the club ungrateful in relation to VV. It should be the opposite after taking him in when he was close to retiring since no other club wanted anything to do with him. These Spaniards always love defending each other no matter context, I can see why Mou got tired of it quick . Casillas should know better given his experience with ungrateful clubs...

Speaking of German's...Germany is apparently going to sign a record breaking kit deal for €1 Billion with either Adidas or Nike

I'm pretty sure its gonna be Adidas

No way Germany switches from Adidas to Nike. Adidas isn't going to let their country's national team sign with the biggest competitor. They'll match anything Nike puts on the table. I can see Nike trolling and making an insane offer knowing that Adidas will match.

Also, what's with this misguided notion that just because a player isn't over 6' he can't be athletic? Just because Messi is 5'6" doesn't mean he doesn't possess elite athleticism. If he wasn't an elite athlete he wouldn't be where he is today. I mean seriously, do you guys not realize how fast Messi is?

Speaking of fussballgots...from yesterdays Scotland - Germany game

I honestly never realized how good Muller was until this season because none of their matches were on in HD for me. But dude is Bayern's most important player imo. And it makes those Man U rumors even more absurd  . It's crazy too that it seems like you can put him anywhere on the field and he'll ball out with his movement, passing, and finishing. I think there will be a point where he's captain for both club and country.

"When God created space, Müller was already there".

Yeah, Muller will probably be a Bayern lifer. No reason for him to ever leave.

NEWS: AC Milan's Mario Balotelli caught speeding near family home

i

Mario Balotelli has had his driving licence confiscated after being caught speeding, Italian news agency ANSA has reported.

Balotelli, 25, has been spending time at his family home in Brescia since completing his season-long return to AC Milan on loan from Liverpool for a season.

The news, originally broken by local paper Il Giornale di Brescia, said he had been caught exceeding the limit by a speed camera near the house last week.

Balotelli was reported to have been driving his Lamborghini at over 90 kmph in a residential area with a limit of 50 kmph.

Italian law meant he had to hand over his licence immediately and the report said was calm when questioned by police officers, telling them: "I'm sorry, but I hadn't realised [that he had been driving so fast]."

When Balotelli joined Milan earlier in the summer, it was claimed he had signed a special agreement that meant the club could rescind his contract immediately if he were to transgress in any way.

It remains to be seen whether the reported speeding incident will lead to any action being taken by club officials.

doesnt matter the height, speed etc... if you are blessed with solid fundamentals... you can flourish in any sport.

i know plenty of dudes over 6ft who arent coordinated for ****. got me wishing god blessed me with an extra inch (pause)

someone like Kobe Bryant could be a good crossover athlete, hes got great footwork. he was raised in italy and learned the fundamentals they stress over over rather than being athletic like they do here in the states.

look at Steve Nash, not the most athletic but was raised on soccer and had elite level skills to win an MVP trophy.

there was a topic about US soccer and how much better theyd be if the best athletes were brought up playing soccer instead of their respective sports. can you imagine elite guys like lebron, westbrook, AP, mike trout, Andrew McCutchen etc..on a  pitch.

Yea not every tall player can be Zlatan, there are a ton of Crouch's out there . Same with shorter players. Like LoveHateSelf said above, fundamentals are fundamentals. They're invaluable no matter physique.
