I heard the ccommentator say there was a point when Messi, Ronaldo, and Rooney were on the same level, Ronaldo, Messi & Robben became world class, and Rooney isn't on Robben's level.
 
From around '08-'11 I'd say that Wazza was right up there in terms of best strikers. He was a legitimate goal a game threat and could score in so many different ways. Don't think it helped his career that SAF decided to start playing him further back the second he lost a step but I'm not even mad,he knew what he was doing :lol:

No way, hearing that type of **** makes me want to throw up. It's not Rooney's fault, it's these god damn English talking heads (not all but so many). How can you be a professional commentator and say absurd things like this - I just don't get it man.

Then people point the finger at me or those who criticize Rooney!! Can you blame us :lol:
