Muller makes regular dudes like me feel like we can ball out on the field man. You watch this dude play and there isn't anything crazy about his game, he just does the simple thing and feasts. Diego Costa makes me feel the same way

It's his incredible ability to find space and read the game. So many angles and variables to calculate all the time, and he's clearly figured out a formula.

That's what's so difficult to master.

People will talk about Messi and Ronaldo forever, but I think they have a bit unfairly at times overshadowed a few players like Iniesta and Muller. Their ability to read the game is something that's often overlooked.

There's nothing unfair about their overshadowing of those players, Messi and Ronaldo are legends of the game whereas Andres and Muller are of their time. There's just levels to this ish b.

I think part of what gets Muller overlooked in the general discussion tho is that many of us aren't regularly checking for Bayern the same way we do with Real, Barca, and the EPL. Only time I really catch full matches of Bayern is in the CL.

Their matches just started broadcasting in HD recently for me when fox picked them up, and I'm not trying to watch them run away with the league.

I did say AT TIMES players are overlooked.

What comes to mind, I think it was the 2010 Ballon'Dor where Iniesta won pretty much everything. Was an absolute joy to watch that entire season, bossing the midfield,finding and creating spaces that I didn't even realize were possible...and well....you know how that story ended.

I'm simply saying sometimes every now and again, players who are incredible get overlooked.

I think what also hurts Muller is that he's not an all out goal scorer. His season tally's sit in the 20's.

they just lost the NBA deal to nike. Nike takes over starting next season so perhaps they have more $$ to throw around in the area they know best

Muller has such high instincts, he reacts so quickly and his touch is world class. He never stops attacking the ball.

..Walcott and iwobi were standouts today, Walcott made some great runs and was really involved in the attack, nice response to his recent performances. Iwobi was damn near motm, he was buzzing all over the final third with some very creative and precise passes, he's potential was shining today. Despite not scoring the chances were good, just better saves were made. Chambers and elneny definitely deserved some atta boys as well after the shifts they put in. Was a fun one to watch.
