If Mou had any dignity he'd hand in his resignation letter tonight.
Why would he do that? Roman going to have to buy him out, Jose winning no matter. He's just signed that fresh contract. Rumor has it that it has to be at least 30 million pounds.

If he leaves I can see him going straight to citeh.

On a side note, I love basketball, but the NBA thread has like 30 Truth Serums in there. There's no way I'm ever going to discuss anything with those people. I'm grateful for this thread :pimp:

I love the NBA thread

I mean yeah you got dudes who go over the top but when there's a good roll of jokes going on its clear. I think some cats just take it TOO seriously. The AD slander wasn't meant to be serious at all by 80% of the people

As bad as this season has been I still have faith in Jose. There isn't even manager on his level available anyway and I don't want another rotating door of managers

...I couldn't tell who was serious and who wasn't, I just kept thinking to myself this is the first game of an 82 game season how can we have this many hot takes already

 but i digress.

BAYERN PLAYERS WANT PEP TO STAY

Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm says he and his team-mates want coach Pep Guardiola to stay at the Allianz Arena next season.

The Catalan's current deal expires in the summer, with Man City and Chelsea having been linked with him in recent weeks.

However, Lahm has admitted Guardiola's future is out of the Bayern players' hands.

"It's not a secret the team works well with him and follows him. Everything else is not in our hands," he said after Bayern's 3-1 win against Wolfsburg on Tuesday night.

MILAN TARGET FORMER STAR

AC Milan may re-sign Schalke midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng, says Tuttosport.

The Rossoneri recently lost Jeremy Menez for four months, with the Serie A club wanting the Ghana international - who played at San Siro between 2010 and 2013 - to replace the injured Frenchman.

And if Milan do sign Boateng in January, then it is understood Suso and Keisuke Honda could be forced to leave to make way for his arrival.

PSG COMPILE STRIKING SHORTLIST

We told you earlier Zlatan Ibrahimovic could join David Beckham's new MLS franchise in Miami in the summer.

And L'Equipe say the Ligue 1 champions still want Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo to replace the Swede at the Parc des Princes next season.

However, if the Parisians miss out on Ronaldo, they will instead turn their attention towards either Barcelona playmaker Neymar or Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski.

REAL STARLET WANTS ESPANYOL STAY

Spanish youngster Marco Asensio has ruled out an early return to his parent club Real Madrid in the new year.

The teenage winger, who was snapped up by Real last December, joined Espanyol on a season-long loan in August and he has impressed for the Barcelona-based side this term.

There have been suggestions he might head back to the Bernabeu in January, but the 19-year-old wants to see out the rest of the campaign at Espanyol.

“I have not spoken with people from Madrid. My intention is to play here all year. I am very comfortable in this team,” he told AS.

REMY: DON'T SACK MOURINHO

Loic Remy wants Jose Mourinho to stay at Stamford Bridge and has backed the Chelsea boss to lead the Blues to a top-four finish in the Premier League.

"It's important for him to stay and we don't want to give up," the forward said of Mourinho.

"We were champions together only last season and he is a really great manager. Of course I don't want him to leave. I think all the players don't want that.

"The spirit is good and we are not affected by the situation. We will just keep training well. I'm sure the opportunity to win games will be here sooner rather than later, but obviously it is better for us if it is sooner."

IBRA KEEN ON MLS SWITCH

PSG forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic is interested in joining David Beckham's new MLS franchise in Miami, says L'Equipe.

The Sweden international's contract at the Parc des Princes expires at the end of the season.

HIDDINK WON'T RULE OUT BLUES RETURN

Guus Hiddink is tight-lipped about taking over at Chelsea should the club sack boss Jose Mourinho.

The Dutchman, 68, coached the Blues on an interim basis in 2009 and has recently been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge.

"Top-class football is always attractive. I've had some offers come my way recently, but there were no jobs I wanted to get in to right away. We'll see, we just have to wait now," he told Voetbal International.

GUNNERS EYE €94M SERIE A STAR

Arsenal will turn their attentions towards Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain should they fail to sign PSG forward Edinson Cavani next summer, according to various reports in the Italian media.

However, it is understood the Gunners will have to pay €94m - the cost of the Argentine's buyout clause in Naples - in order to lure the player to the Emirates.

NO REAL RETURN FOR RAUL

Former Real Madrid captain Raul says he has no plans to return to the Spanish capital when he retires from football.

The New York Cosmos striker, 38, recently announced he will hang up his boots when the current NASL season ends.

However, the Spaniard wants to remain in the Big Apple for now.

"Right now, I will continue to live here in New York. I know that I will go back to Madrid one day, but that is not in my short-term plans", he said.

"For the moment, I will be here with my family and we’ll see if an interesting project turns up."

PSG 'MONITORING MOURINHO'

PSG are monitoring Jose Mourinho's situation at Chelsea and will consider offering him a job should he be fired, according to the London Evening Standard.

Chelsea currently sit 15th in the Premier League with 11 points from 10 games, while Mourinho was sent to the stands at half-time of their 2-1 defeat by West Ham on Saturday.

Yo, give Sheff Weds some credit, they wanted it more, Arsenal and Wenger got what they deserved playing a second string side and not taking it seriously. Whether you rate the league cup as a competition or not, silverware is sliverware, of which I'd be beyond grateful for Leicester to win.

We took exactly the same approach to it against Hull last night as Arsenal did, and the outcome was exactly the same. I'm gutted, we could've seriously won the entire thing this year. Managers complain that the cups are losing their magic, yet continue to play weakened squads. Sigh.

Ibra coming to Miami? :pimp: if true

 if Arsenal pay 94 mill for Higuain after all these years of lowballing for true superstars.

Higuain isn't worth 94 million euros
laugh.gif
If Wenger wasn't willing to buy a potential star he could mold in Martial for less than half of that, why would he pay so much for a striker who could have won his country two major trophies if he could've finished?

Good lord if PSG gets Neymar or King Lewa :wow: :x

And for 94 million, Gunners might as well bid on Reus, Aguero, Hazard, or Griez...

Higuain ain't worth that :smh:

I would still love to see Giroud as a super sub.

I hope they sign El Shaarawy, Isco's out there for them to grab up too.

Timbers back in the playoffs biiiiish :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:
Cant wait for Thursday, gonna miss it due to work but I'm praying for positive results. Went to the regular season game against them the other week and thought we were gonna miss the playoffs after taking the L to them. Crazy how things have changed and KC has always had our number so it's gonna be a tough match. Feilhaber and Zusi are too nice for them, even their GK too.

Posting in the NBA thread and reading the responses makes me feel like I lost IQ. It's like talking to that guy on the train and when he says something super outlandish you just sit there with that nervous smile and nod. My exact feels towards the thread

This thread though, made me appreciate and learn an entire new sport :pimp:

Douglas Costa scored a golazo yesterday against Wolfsburg. Dude has lit up Germany ever since he got there. All the hype on Memphis, yet it's the Brazilian so far making the most impact on his new team.

Edit: Kun can do so much better than that.
