He was inconsistent for long stretches and was going into his 2nd half of his footballing career. Indeed, he was very crucial at times when Aguero would be out for injuries and was vital in our title years. I felt the time was right to part ways. Don't think he had much left to give for the club considering he would of been splitting the bench with Bony.

I don't wanna play the injury card but I think this is the thinnest City has been in our ST and CB depth. Having no solidity on either end has gotten our midfield running up and down the pitch like headless chickens.
