Idk if its just me but especially this year, Juve isn't all that to me. I don't get how they find success with the mediocre team they have...

They lost Pirlo and Vidal man. Two huge players/leaders. If I can remember correctly they are off to one of there worst starts in league play in years.

just finished the recording of juve vs city. glad juve was able to pull it out. was the earlier discounted goal from pogba in the first half something that would've counted last season? i remember this year the officials were supposed to enforce the fact that an offside player would kill the play even if they don't touch it. morata missed and was offside but pogba was clearly on. either way, that cross from pogba to mario to get it started and morata's strike were both beautiful. pogba looked fantastic all game and no words for buffon. freakin legend. great away win to start the group stage.

UNITED ISSUE LUKE SHAW STATEMENT

Luke Shaw underwent surgery on his injury on Tuesday night and will remain in hospital in Eindhoven to continue his early recovery.

Manchester United are grateful for the excellent care he is receiving and would like to thank everyone who has sent messages of support.

A further update will be provided in due course.

The Luke Shaw injury makes me sick to my stomach. You really got to feel for the kid. What a terrible challenge.

I got to watch the PSG match. Their defense looked shaky. I don't see them going anywhere this year in CL. Out of the group is about it. Matuidi looked off but still worked hard. Would love to see Verrati at RM. Little bull dog in there love the way he plays (even though some times its dirty).

I will never get tired of the IG posts of Di Maria and every comment "I see a snake" "SSSSsssssssssss"

What happened to Samir Nasri? Next Zidane my *** dude is weak
The fact that people tried to say he would be the next Zidane
sick.gif
. I don't know why people feel the need to do this. I can't stand it when people compare up and coming players or even players why just have skill like Nasri to all time greats and even become them.

The people who do those comparisons just gotta let this dudes come into their own, you can't just pick and tell who the greats of a generation are gonna be and when they don't live up to it to just dump on em

Comparing players to all time greats is literally the most pointless sports predictions people can make, like someone said

The same thing that happens to 99.9% of the other next Zidanes, Messis, Ronaldos, fat Ronaldos, Xavis, Iniestas, Ibras, Henrys, etc...
Some people out here in the media doing the same thing to Martial it makes me sick for real

Having had the pleasure of watching Zidane and Fat Ronaldo play in the flesh, I'm confident in saying there will never be another one of either. They were both utterly unique as I'm sure Martial is and will be, far too early to be pressuring the lad, just let him play football!

Exactly...we don't need a next Zidane or fat Ronaldo or Henry or Messi or Ronaldo etc.

people gotta stop trying to replace these greats with guys who might not pan out.

The next generation will have their greats and they will be fine and make their history without needing to be or replace a previous great.

Wow, that stinks. He was a great fan. One of the reasons why we love sports. Brazil's national team will win one for him for sure.

RIP to him man :smh:,didn't realised how far back he started going to WC's.

In better news, apparently Shaw suffered a "clean break" so they're saying about 6 months should be his timetable and LVG hasn't given up hope that he plays this season. I wouldnt want him to rush his recovery to come back though.

The whole best league in the world thing does fluctuate and seems to be cyclical imo. When I was growing up,Serie A and the Italian teams were considered the best in the world.

Yea I don't see that happening unless he goes on that HGH recovery regiment

. I just want him at 100% before even contemplating coming back,he's way too talented/important to risk more injury by rushing back. LVG still seems sure of him coming back at some point this season...
