Surprised but not surprised, you know. I wouldn't have predicted this a few months ago that's for damn sure..

Been a beautiful season for this very reason, who could have predicted Leicester top of the league late December...

Exactly..

Coupe I know he's from Portugal so you'll have a bias toward him but son lost EVERYONE. Players, media and PR, staff. And a lot of fans are just loyal to whatever their club does. Bet a lot of them support the decision in the club getting rid of him now that it's the course of action they've gone with.

Maybe I have some bias, but I never disagreed with this, he lost the dressing room but the dressing room also let him down.

But I just go back to the fact that way more than half of Chelsea fans still wanted Mourinho to stay, they wanted him going forward. No bias there, that's the truth. I thought the fans had the power, no matter what.

But maybe that's me being naïve? I don't understand Roman the way some of y'all do.

When I say long-term I'm not talking about some 26 year career man.

Fact is, it will take Mourinho a minimum of 1 season to get his team figured out. If all went according to plan, second season he would win something. Third season, he would lose the dressing room, and someone else would have to come and pick up the pieces.

That's not something that United is looking for.

Moyes was purely a SAF appointment.

LVG made sense based on who else was available and the fact that he was going to gut out the rot, and fix the leaking holes (this process is still sorta lol in progress).

Right now, Mou would NOT be the right appointment.

Right NOW United play like they're kicking around a plastic bag.

So if Pep decides to be a herb and take over another championship team (Man City), then those super duper geniuses who are on the United board will absolutely consider Mou.

Rol, he won't get fired at all. You need to come to terms with that

If 80% of Chelsea fans want to keep Mourinho, wtf are expecting? Lol. You still don't get it, cause you've been saying this since like October

So, Mourinho has job security. Okay, he just won the EPL this calendar year, ya'll want to talk about job security? Have you not heard about Arsene Wenger? Have you not heard about Arsenal? What their fans have gone thru, go talk job security with Arsenal fans
Exactly what came into my head when I saw the news ,Coupe wanted to ignore all the warning signs

There are plenty of Chelsea fans who wanted Mou to stay. They feel that Jose is Chelsea and I think that's the problem. That means if he's Chelsea we can't see success without him, we won't grow, it all starts and ends with him. It can't be that way...if we are gonna be an elite club then we have to show we can move on without him. Jose is the greatest manager we've ever had, no denying that but if we are attached to this man like he's Chelsea's life force then that means we're really just Tottenham on steroids.

At the end of the day, Pep will choose the team that requires the least work to win some more Trophies

Phil Jackson of Footy  :smh:

If he wants a real challenge he'll look into Chelsea,MU. It must get boring for him easily winning the league each year ,I hope

Would be great if mou took over man city, already a great team like he usually likes, start the process of tuning them up, not in time for the title though, win it next year sticking it to chelsea and then imploding and destroying the squad the next season, we all win lol. I am surprised he was sacked, i thought he would be given until CL but i can understand it as well.

...ah good times, outside of them, its been quite the campaign, excited for what Arsenal will show everyone once the season is over, i see all the shots taken :D

I was well aware of the warning signs but yes I ignored them, but it's because of the fans. So I have to chalk up this L, and realize that football is now Russian Billionaire Owners > Fans.

My bad, you win. I lose this one  not good news for you tho, I told you my sources were saying Pep to United, maybe I'll be wrong again

i hope pep goes to city...

but i would cheer for any bpl team pep goes to

You mean at the end of the season?

Oh there I can see a point. I thought you meant him slipping in (off the back of people saying LVG should go right now).

Of course you would, you're a herb too.

Oh hell no dude, not now  - That'd never happen. I'm talking about the summer, if Pep chooses City, I think United would counteract with hiring Mourinho.

Don't really follow Bundesliga as much as I would like to so im curious as to why Pep wants to leave Bayern?

Not the biggest fan of a Mou hire right now but man would it be lit to have him and Pep both in Manchester. The Derby's would be incredible :wow: :pimp:

It would be so litttttttt :smokin

Manchester would become a city I'd actually WANT to visit. Instead of ignoring every time I go to England

I don't know what to believe anymore with all this manager speculation of who could go to which club, imma just grab some popcorn and wait and see.

What I hope for

Carlo to Bayern
Pep to MU
Mou to Real
Rogers to Chelskie

 :nerd:
