This is no excuse for the poor start in CL by EPL clubs, but I think the English FA needs to help the clubs much like the orther leagues. England needs to get rid of the hectic winter schedule. Its a time were most leagues take a break but EPL has its hardest schedule around that time of the year. This cause teams to fatigue as they make long runs in CL and other competition. We seen this with Chelsea last season.

To add to that. His work ethic. Messi comes off as a natural to me. Like he is effortless in being that amazing at soccer. Ronnie has tons of talent but his hard work has taken him to where he is. His mindset (people complain because he scoffs when his team mates score and he doesn't but his mindset is score by any means necessary). Dudes drive is just something that i wish i had when it came to anything in life.

All this to say i don't really know how hard messi works im sure he does just as much if not more im just not privy to it like i am CR7

I's take Ronaldo to build a team ahead of Messi because of these reasons. Not saying Ronaldo is better than Messi at all tho - but let's say Ronaldo and Messi are having a terrible day and they've been neutralized all game by the opposition - who are you counting on to score a goal off a set piece or a cross to win the game?

Ronaldo is always there and he'll always be a threat - even if he's having a bad game. That's what gives him the edge over Messi. Messi almost becomes useless if he can't touch the ball. I have to say that Messi is the greatest talent I've ever seen and probably will ever see - but building a team for the next 15 years is different.
