No way we get Messi he won't leave Barca I don't believe that at all. Although I'm starting to believe these Pep rumors more and more and i'm ok with that.

I can't wait for this game against Tottenham. It'll prove whether or not these boys are finally ready to compete or not.

With tax issues involving Messi and Neymar, it shouldn't be a surprise why those 2 might want to leave Spain. I would say this though, If Messi every got those crazy wages for City, the game will be ruined. No player deserves that kind of money. It will cause ticket prices to go way up alienating lots of fans.

Klopp just came at Sturridge hard about his injuries. Dude seems to not even want to play through anything lol

Managers should stop talking about players injuries. I've seen so many athletes ruin themselves because their boss thought they could pay through the pain and injuries.

Now apparently Real is looking at Pep

Also Real related, thought this was interesting/unsurprising though...http://www.sport-english.com/en/noticias/futbol/james-ramos-divided-dressing-room-madrid-4708636 :nerd:

Thats another reason I don't believe that rumor at allm those wages are absurd.

Ehh those are feasible wages for a big club like Citeh tbh. Earlier this month there were reports of Arsenal being open to offering him 600k a week wages. You have to look at getting Messi as a mutually beneficial move finacially. His crazy wages would easily be made up fast given how much money a global superstar like Messi would bring tot he club. Dudes like Ronnie and Messi are probably the only players in the world that are genuinely worth insane wages given the strength and stature of their personal brands. Clubs can make massive profits off of them alone.

Neymar is well on his way to that level, especially with the news of Nike looking to replace Ronnie with him as their main footy figurehead next year...

He and Ronnie are absolutely worth it don't get me wrong its still an insane number though

even if the Club could afford and and it would be made back long term. Either way Messi isn't leaving Barca I just don't see that happening.

If those rumors of Real showing interest in Pep like he would actually go there

.

Dudes a Barca legend and a proud Catalan it wouldn't happen.

Word. Never understood people getting on athletes about injuries and how soft they are. Its their body and pain.

ronaldo has been awful this season for his standards.

he has scored 13 goals in all comps but has failed to score in 10 out of 17 fixtures.

neymar has surpassed ronaldo this season.

why are man u trying to break the bank for him?

i see it as a disaster waiting to happen because he wont be able to do what he did before at man u and their team is such a drop in talent from RM.

if real madrid were smart they would sell him for a record fee.  if he isn't a goal scoring machine he becomes a detriment to real madrid's team because he doesn't do much else anymore and kills chemistry.  of course, this also has a lot to do with benitez but I think we are seeing ultimately the decline of one of the greatest footballers ever.  against barcelona the only shots he had were headers...pique and alves used to be food for ronaldo.

what do yall think the best choices are for him and madrid?

or do you think he's fine and his movie has been distracting him?

ronaldo and ibrahimovic

no way pep goes to Real Madrid. he goes to city way before real madrid. too much loyalty to barcelona...last year he came to the camp nou to scout barcelona vs man city and was still seen cheering for barcelona.

james or isco has to leave madrid.  they are too young and too good to be riding the bemch.  they have all the skills and both have a great attitude. they need a place where thier talents can grow and flourish

and im a die hard barca fan but i honestly have great respect for madrid and to see them in shambles really doesn't make the competition as fun and exciting.

and make no mistake about it to lose to barca at home without messi by 4 goals...madrid are in trouble.

Yeah I wanna see Isco somewhere else. Like....Chelsea :nerd:

We need more creative guys and Fabregas is on the downside.

Need some CBs too. Terry is too old to be chasing these speedsters and Ivanovic should be getting phased out the squad.

Jose said he doesn't have the right to ask for transfer window targets which means he's definitely looking for new blood.

Rumors have us targeting Alex Teixiera and Jonathan Calleri

I blame Rafa system/injuries to players for Ronaldo poor form (by his standards).

As for Isco, that's my guy, man. I don't blame him for wanting out. I wish he can start every game..anywhere else in the world besides Barca, he would start every fixture.

Real needs to sell one of their attackers and make a push for Pogba if they want any chance to compete with Barcelona, even though I think dude has his heart set on Barca.

Benitez has his work cut out to pick the right line up and keep his players happy. It seems like an impossible task since a no-name player who came out of nowhere in Casemiro has cemented his spot in the starting XI.

Flo won't allow Bale to be dropped ever, which complicates it even more.

Most likely means 2 of the 3, James Isco and Benzema will have to ride the bench.

I wouldn't mind seeing something like

                Ronaldo

    Bale      Kroos     Isco

        Modric  -  Casemiro

Marcelo-Pepe-Ramos-Carvajal

                Navas

Ronaldo isn't beating anyone on the wing anymore, dude is still an elite penalty box predator though. Someone needs to remind Bale he's a left back and get him to defend and charge down the wing again. Not fail at cutting onto his left from the right. Also I think he can feed off Kroos, Modric, and even Marcelo lined up like that. Really any of the 3, Isco/James/and even Jese can play where I put Isco. James is better and more talented but Isco is the better and more willing defender. Either of the 2, Modric or Kroos can play the 10. Only thing with this lineup is that some of the fits might be awkward, but I think collectively it provides balance.

i would switch kroos and james

or switch modric with kroos.

kroos isn't that great making dissecting runs with or without the ball.

hes best when he can sit back see the whole field and quarterback from there not in tight spaces.

and ronaldo as a striker really irks me...any balls sent in to the box he's golden but there is no build up play through him when he plays striker. so that leads the attack to be very one dimensional...wings would have to work down the wing and look for crosses to ronnie.

@DominicKing_DM In Munich: Bayern have just announced plans for a new Academy, to be ready for 2017-18. Cost: €70m. Aim: to find next Lahm, Muller.

Bayern and Barca the only 2 teams in the world doing it right...

And Bayern is actually doing it more legitimately than Barca

I think saying just those 2 is an overstatement. psv, porto and ajax just to name a couple. doesn't have to a superpower club to mean they aren't running things right with academies and whatnot. but yes bayern does a phenomenal job of bringing kids through the youth academies and making them studs.
