Hammers bout to hammer that midfield to pieces :smh:

im surprised adnan in there. reason #13923 to sack Loser Van Gaal, He's considering selling Adnan and Andreas this summer for attitude problems on u21s game. Can't blame them, they aren't LVGs boys, already picked over by Radford, Lingard, and whatever other u21 LVG wants his name attached to.

@SquawkaNews: Arsene Wenger: "Our long run in the FA Cup comes to a sad end because I don't think we deserved to lose."

Arsenal never deserve any of their shortcomings according to Wenger ,it's always the fault of external factors

I was under the impression that mar-see-al was the more-accurate version.

But this was the first time I heard marshall.  The comms guy with Michael Owen... whoever that was.

I just changed streams and Martin Tyler's got mar-see-al.

"We have a gentleman who comes to Arsenal games, he flies his helicopter from South Africa, Cape Town to London quite often [to watch Arsenal]. It’s just an example of what a brand can mean, and what we can do in sports.
what a crock of **** Stan is spewing out there

ain't not helicopter spanning that distance regularly

fwiw, there's a Sac Kings season ticket holder (bless his heart) who lives in NJ and flies out to pretty much every other Kings home game, which is pretty dope tbh

That's the biggest load of BS. No one is flying a chopper that distance as you said, and if he was, CPT is so small, that I would have heard of him. A story like that would be impossible to hide from certain circles.

Stan is such a ******* clown. How do you build a brand when your club consistently bottles it and you do nothing about it. Get this dude out of here. The club is in shambles but as long as it still lines his pockets he's okay with it :smh: :smh:

@Gibney_A PSG's dominance is not because of Ligue 1's weakness. It's because they are sooo far ahead and the others are very similar. Also helps that they have double the budget of the closest team (Monaco) and over 3 times Lyon/OM of course they are 25 pts clear. But it's just easier to say that Ligue 1 is crap. I also love the "Ligue 1 is crap crowd" who's team have scouts at French grounds every week.

8 shots in the first half... see, LVG's plan does work... crisis averted.

Zero shots on target, but whatever.

Look at how French squads not named PSG have fared in Europe lately though . Monaco beating the Gunners last year is one of the few instances of a French team other than PSG getting somewhat deep in European competition over the last few years.

Ligue 1 is crap doesn't mean Ligue 1 doesn't have good talent though . Smaller leagues can have vast amounts of talent, look at the Eredivisie and the Portuguese league.

They just need some new investors to breath some new life into the traditonally good sides

I think there's truth to both sides of the discussion.

Ligue 1 is definitely in need of some new investors, more money to bring in talent, and keeping the homegrown talent they produce.

But on the other end, PSG is a really good team. Even with the money that can come in and bring in more competition, PSG would still win the league with the quality they have. They wouldn't win it in March, but they are top 5 teams on the planet.

I think people get sidetracked by the lack of real competition they have versus just how good the team is.

PSG goes against a currently struggling Ligue 1, so people think that takes away from the quality of the club.

But they stood well against Real in the group stage and just washed Chelsea in the CL.

If this were Bayern or Juve this many points ahead, nobody would really have an issue. Or lord knows if Barca was doing this right now the world would be on fire.

When Bayern or Real score 9 goals its [emoji]128293[/emoji] But when Paris does it, there's still that lack of respect from some.

I do t think PSG's quality and dominance should be respected just like any other club in any other league.

It would be one thing if they were washing Ligue 1 but getting bounced out of the group stages in the CL, but they have proved that they are not only the top club in France but also a top club in the world.

Ligue 1 just sucks right now.

But I would be more than happy for Lyon and the others to get more quality. At one point Lyon was in this same position as PSG
