I think the people claiming he is racist are more talking about Karim Benzema being of Algerian decent and that being the reason for his treatment not if he is Muslim or not. For the record I do think it more has to do with Valbuena situation.

You're probably right,especially with how high tensions have been and the rise of the far right after the recent attacks in Paris and Brussels. All in all it's a sad situation all around,the best French striker of his generation misses out on a major tourney at home

I don't know what to think about potentially signing Vardy. There's no doubt he'll thrive with playmakers around him, but he's not an Arsenal player to me. In other words, Arsene in the past would go after someone younger and whom he could mould. This. Ribery, Nasri and countless others who've played under Deschamps were also Muslim. There were also reports of the special care the FFF wanted for their Muslim players when they went down to Brazil for the World Cup in 2014 too. People out here mad just to be mad and not having a realistic view of things. Like many have a said earlier snubbing Benz was a no brainer and Ben Arfa was just a bad decision.

The people making those claims are not talking about him being muslim or not they are talking about his Algerian decent which Ben Afra comes from Algerian Decent as well.

Ship has sailed on Higuain going to Arsenal. Should've pulled the trigger on him a year or two ago when he was relatively affordable. He's a top-5 striker after the season he just had and way out of your price range.
