Why do ppl always ***** about this but not the nba trade deadline / NFL etc.

Teams get a better idea of what they need to address and have a period of time to do so. Also players can see if a perspective team they're looking to join will be part of a competition they're talented enough to be a part of. And teams know if they'll be a part of said competition to receive extra money and make a more financially sound decision on bringing in a player.

Closing the window before the season starts would just be succumbing to the people who pull crazy headlines out of their *****.
If only there was a mid season transfer window as well.......

Like in the winter or sth

So do you ever complain that the NBA needs to not have a trade deadline and just do a window? Or the NFL.

Also that totally ignores my point about seeing if you qualify for a competition before the team/player makes a decision.

Like say Valencia wanted to bring in Moutinho, but wanted to see if they qualified for the CL group stage before dropping the money on him, and he wanted to see if they qualify for it too before he decided on moving there. If he had to wait for the window, they could be knocked out of the group stage by then.

System is fine the way it is. The only complaint people have is the media distractions. And I don't think hacks or the media in general should be empowered to the point of controlling an important part of football that's been around for a long time.

Champions league has too many rounds and teams, but that's another story....

Champions league could and should be cut in half but the money is too good

Europa should be the half of CL that gets cut

I think the only ones that complain are fans of teams that feel constantly on the fringe about if they'll get a player or not and are just impatient and can't think outside of themselves. I bet there are more United/Arsenal/Liverpool fans complaining than Bayern/RM/Barca/Chelsea/Man City ones

. They don't want that feeling of being on edge about who they'll get, and hate that the media has an extra month to take them on a ride with garbage stories that they know probably aren't real but can't help to get sucked into. I don't think people's issues primarily have to do with thinking it negatively impacts football. There are pros and cons to it, but it's definitely not a net negative impact.

Rooney needs to be more aggressive man, he never takes on opponents only in short bursts, play a little more selfish and not defer cause hes always looking for the perfect pass....and i still believe the skill is there just the mentality needs to change

Def, they both benefited from each other and they had some serious chemistry. I was amazed how some black English dude and some xenophobic Uruguayan dude had so much chemistry

They were hitting each other off with crosses and back heel assists, it was so pretty. But Suarez was on the Michael Jordan juice that year, I think he was responsible for at least half of Liverpool's goals that season.

Best performance by one man in the EPL since Ronnie in 2008 and Henry in 2004.
Liverpool scored 101 goals that season in the EPL. Suarez had 31 and Sturridge had 21. Sterling had like 10. We beasted that year. I
