There would be no problems for Chelsea if Felipe Luis was still there. What about Zouma. What does Mourinho/Chelsea see in Stones that Zouma can't provide?

This potential back 4 for Chelsea would of been more stable.

Luis-Cahill-Zouma-Azpilicueta

Can't lie tho. Seeing Chelsea scrambling to patch their holes is a damn good feeling :pimp:

They said the same thing about a young Portuguese kid a few years ago too...that turned out pretty well for United.
Yea, but Nani sucks bro

Stamford Bridge. Megastore got completely upgraded since the last time i was there. The away changing room jerseys are completely random and have no connection to Chelsea lol just for show

That's why for me NBA>NFL. Didn't grow up in an NFL town and I refuse to root for anything Seattle even if they are in the PNW. NBA could be as big as soccer in 20ish years. Imagine a Champions League between the US and Spain or something

FIBA are stupid because basketball is the only other team sport in the world that could come close to matching the World Cup. But instead somehow the most prestigeous basketball tournament remains the Olympics, where it has to share the spotlight with a bunch of other sports. Olympics have always been about track & field and swimming, basically pushing humans to the limit and setting records in speed and strength: Who can run/swim the fastest, jump highest, throw **** furthest, etc. Team sports will always lose the spotlight in the Olympics.

And as for club level, David Stern mentioned that one day the NBA could expand into Europe, but that remains a fantasy.

Interested to see where Pedro will fit in. Can Pedro play either wing?

Costa
Hazard -Wiilian/Cesc -Pedro
Matic- Oscar/Cesc

Ceasar-Terry-Cahill-Ivanovic

Cesc is always uninspiring in the hole. When in form, Oscar is the best candidate for the spot. At times Willian seems to be more creative than Oscar in the 10, but lacks the goal threat

#Pedro move to Chelsea will earn his home town club Raqui San Isidro £320,000 and save them from bankruptcy.
#PedroToChelsea

Much respect

Guys were raving about United doing good business and instead they lost out on the two guys they've been gunning for the entire summer to their rival clubs.

The usual.

I mean it has been good business though ,we've had aa little under 10m in net spending this summer on some solid, impactful aquisitions. Missing out on both these dudes won't make or break our season but I'm sure LVG has something planned before the end of the window.

Memphis
Funny enough,Chelsea were the first team with interest mentioned when news broke that Pedro wanted out iirc. Along with the Gooners before MU and MC came into the picture.

I'm still wondering why him and Lindegaard STILL haven't been sold

Think it was pretty obvious that I was talking about this summer...

I disagree, your CB situation is in shambles and you could lose DDG at any moment.

Could very well make or break your season

Y'all were potraying Woody as the Boss Don and chanting "we sign who we want" at the beginning of the transfer window.

Overall tone among united supporters has done a 180

What a difference a few weeks makes

Shambles??? Wha the heck are you talking about man? Melodramatic much? We haven't even conceded a legit goal yet . Of course you disagree .

If you've paid any attention to our matches you'd see that our defense is night and day compared to last years weekly makeshift back 4's with the likes of Evans/Jones and teenagers like Paddy and Blackett.

Now we actually have an actual CDM in Schneiderlin that can help out that line when they're in trouble and we have talented young FB's on both flanks in a 100% healthy and fit Shaw and Darmian. That's vastly superior to a rotation of Young/Blind/Rojo on the left and Valencia/Rafa on the right. Not to mention that Mike Smalling has been arguably the best English defender this season so far and has been a solid rock at the back since his sending off at Citeh last November. Now the area of concern back there for most has been Blind playing at CB but that's been mostly out of need with Rojo still not fully fit but for all the flack we've sent his way,he's held his own in the 3 matches he's played but obviously that's not a permanent solution so I'm definitely hoping for a CB signing before the end of the window.

The reason why we were ecstatic about the early summer signings from Woody was because we'd been used to the post-Fergie era of indiciveness in the market and missing out on key targets only to make overpriced, panic buys before the deadline. It was a welcome change by the fans so of course we were happy with him. Don't know why that rubs rival fans the wrong way so much but I couldn't care less ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Don't remember any "we sign who we want" chants  but we were definitely encouraged about our transfer prospects after that. He did seal 3 deals in less than 24 hours after all. Better than the last week of the window...

I guess all this should be expected though
