If anything, I see it as to take pressure off of Roo... he usually plays better behind a striker.  Putting him alone, up-front doesn't seem to be very effective.

He played striker before tho and had some good years. United don't even have another striker he can play behind.

Zlatan is a magnificent player, but it isn't like getting him would put them over the top for CL contention. At his age it wouldn't be worth the money. Think it was a little different with Schweinsteiger because of the leadership be brings in trying to regain the winning culture.

And as much as there's been hype around what United have done, this team is an embarrassment in talent and profile compared to the teams we're used to. United shouldn't have to "rebuild" for this long. It's a detriment to their brand too imo for players who might consider joining them.

And yea they have 6/6 points, and they defended to earn them. But the 2 goals are an OG and a deflection.

Idk man if I were a fan I'd give it one more summer before I really got pissed. Even Pedro is just a role player.

Not gunna front though, as a Real fan it's going to be nice doing business with you after you develop Memphis for us

Rooney looks poor as the only striker.  Our midfield and defense have done well thus far.  But we're lacking in the final 1/3, and don't see anyone in the transfer market that can be an instant help.

No one in the Premier League is that deep.

German teams have gone deeper in CL play recently if I remember correctly too. Also they are IMO the most diverse league. You can watch a match and see players from all corners of the world on the field at the same time. I'm glad the Bundesliga is on Fox this year

yup wasn't there like 4-5 bundesliga teams in the final 16 of the CL the last 2 years? and like 2-3 in the final 8 as well both years. I believe BL is ranked 2nd behind EPL as far as top leagues in the world also based on all the numbers

If I had the channels that aired Bundesliga games frequently, I'd watch that more than anything else.

Munich, Dortmund, Wolfsburg, Leverkusen, Schalke.... I love the BL.
