Like Chelsea - Man U hasn't been a great rivalry either...
it hasn't...

chelsea and united don't have a rivalry the on the same degree that arsenal v United or liverpool v United have had.
Obviously,I was talking about that in comparison to Chelsea - Arsenal which has been too one sided to be considered a true rivalry besides the manager fued

Good matchup =/= rivalry

Arsenal/United wasn't even really considered a rivalry until the Wenger vs. SAF glory days

Obviously,I was talking about that in comparison to Chelsea - Arsenal which has been too one sided to be considered a true rivalry besides the manager fued
Regardless of how one sided it might seem, imo, the rivalry between chelsea and arsenal is far greater than chelsea v united.

The manager feud just adds fuel to the fire, but the rivalry has been there.

Spurs v arsenal is also a big rivalry between them and it's pretty one sided but no one says that it makes it less of what it actually is...

Not just good matchups but there's been bad blood and classic matches there

These Madrid players giving no ***** about bad talking Rafa in the media. They don't respect that dude at all smh. Never had this problem with Carlo

Yea I was wondering what's been up because I've read negative comments from Benz and Ramos about his tactics this week . Thats on top of Ronnies apparent disillusionment with Rafa, this was all so predictable . They had a coach that everyone liked and respected yet decide to can him at the first chance presented... :x. Now they have a coach that none of the stars respect or give a damn to give the appearance of respect for him

Gerd Müller has Alzheimer's :frown:

Gerd Müller, widely known as “Der Bomber”, turns 70 on 3 November. The former FC Bayern centre-forward scored a total of 533 goals in 585 appearances for the club between 1964 and 1979. He won the World Cup and European Championship with Germany and rates as one of the greatest players of all time. He was also named European Footballer of the Year and, thanks to a total of 13 trophies in Bayern colours, is one of the club’s legends.

Unfortunately, Müller has been seriously ill for some time with Alzheimer’s disease. The media and general public have respected Gerd Müller’s privacy in this difficult situation. With the strong support of his family, Müller has been receiving professional treatment since February 2015. His wife Uschi has asked for understanding that there will be no official appointments or visits for his 70th birthday.

FC Bayern München chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge commented: “Gerd Müller is one of the greats of the global game. Without his goals FC Bayern and German football would not be what they are today. Gerd was the kind of striker there probably won’t be again. Despite all his success he always remained modest and reserved, which particularly impresses me. He was a wonderful team-mate and is a personal friend. Gerd will always have a place in the Bayern family. After he finished playing, he contributed his experience as a youth coach and helped nurture the likes of our world champions Philipp Lahm, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Thomas Müller. We’re grateful to him for this too.”

In the light of Müller’s condition and his forthcoming 70th birthday, Rummenigge said: “In this far from easy situation for him and his family, we appeal for respect. Values such as friendship and fair play were and are important to Gerd. He has deserved all of us to approach his illness considerately and respect his privacy and that of his family. This is not only the express wish of his family but also of FC Bayern. FC Bayern will always support Gerd Müller and his family and help him whenever necessary.”

Müller’s physician Prof Dr Hans Förstl commented on the Alzheimer’s disease suffered by the footballing idol: “Thanks to the magnificent support of his wife and the exemplary loyalty of FC Bayern München, Gerd Müller has been perfectly and successfully integrated into the life of the club over many years. Despite the unmistakeable signs of his illness he has been treated with sympathy and great respect by the Bayern family, the fans and the media. That was very important, because all we can wish for a person after the onset of Alzheimer’s disease is that he can remain for as long as possible in a familiar environment where he feels at his best.”

Carlos Tevez hasn''t been paid for three months and wants to return to Juventus.

What's with some of these South American clubs not paying players, and for Boca to not be able to pay seems odd. Ronaldinho went through the same thing when he was at Flamengo. Tevez still has so much to offer in my opinion. Hopefully he leaves Boca in the winter.

Horrible disease, the last thing I want taken away from me is my memory, seeing people go through it first hand is even worse. Hopefully a cure is found someday, and hopefully Gerd isn't too advanced in the disease and can still enjoy the rest of his life.

Never experienced someone battling Alzheimer's in person but I fear Alzheimer's more than any other disease. No fighting chance and everything you love becomes distant.

Imagine how lit it would be if Carlos Tevez, Ronaldihno, and Javier Hernandez joined MLS

Indeed, I truly hope people find a cure for Alzheimer's disease. Taking your memory away is a cruel thing to do.

I would love for those three to join, more so the first two mentioned. I just hope that wherever Dinho goes next he stays there and is able to contribute for the last few years of his career. If he's going to continue these antics that has seen him terminate his last two contracts then he should just hang the boots up

Yeah, my grandfather is suffering from it, he just turned 84 and from how I see it I think he's still in good shape as far as the disease goes. There's good days and bad days, but you can definitely see how it affects an individual, memory seems pretty good but just the randomness and mood swings are the tough parts.

Alzheimers is the worst :smh: I'm terrified of it since it runs in my family.

As far as Blatter is concerned, I hope this suspension comes with more good news down the line. Hopefully handcuffs.
