If the MLS was consistently on the level of current day Serie A or even the Bundesliga (without Bayern) I'd be more than happy

Brahhhhh - That will never, ever happen dude. You're not just shooting for the stars here, you're shooting for a new universe

We're talking about the Bundesliga here (which to me, has the most talent top to bottom than any any other league - arguably best league in the world) & and Italy which consistently produces some of the best players in the world and has talent that runs divisions deep (even if the tops teams aren't the powerhouses they used to be).

If the MLS gets to be on the Mexican league level in our lifetime that'd be a great accomplishment, but I even doubt that - but that'd be a more realistic target.

Wish I saw it live tho, highlights don't do it justice. I would of had a heart attack if I was watching at work, Words can't eem describe the feels I had watching the highlights knowing the score. I was just seeing what was on last night and tuned into the Timbers-SKC game right before POR scored the equalizer in extra time. Don't think I've ever seen a shootout go so back and fourth like that. Crazy how many chances SKC had to win it. They miss one just off the post and then that one that hit both posts and went out.

We all want them back, that's the consensus - I was trying to convince Meth but he said he's not trying to give out special treatment to "popular members"' and he's not trying to set a bad precedent for the rest of NT - but he'll consider it in December or January. Nelson never hit me back, Nelson doesn't talk

I mean I tried everything I could on behalf of ya'll and them but Meth is a difficult dude, if he or any other Mod was part of this thread I think it would have been much easier - but we have no members of the hierarchy that contribute to this thread besides Nelson once in a blue moon - so its hard to get recognition and support when it comes to character witnessing.

Meth is taking my word but I'm a dude whose been warned a bunch throughout the last couple years, I'm nobody . He said the poll wouldn't/didn't help the cause either so all we can do I guess is try back in December or January and see what happens.

Thread bans are specific to the particular thread they are banned from. They weren't banned from the entire forum.

Granted, we don't know if Meth would just ban them out of the new one also

But we're already almost 400 pages into this thread, so I don't know if we want to sacrifice this thread either.
