Goalpost coming to the rescue

Bony is becoming so frustrating for me to watch. he doesn't run he just stands with his back to goal. Sterling, Silva and KDB's style of play and passing works best when you have someone up top willing to make runs IMO.

Shawcross isnt so bad. Butland is growing into a great GK, guy is only 21 or 22. If Stoke can get an actual striker they have top 8 potential

I'm hoping for Nacho and Delph to come on but I fully expect Pellers put Jesus on if a halftime sub is made...

For all the crap I have given to Dzeko throughout the years, wish we had him back. Iheanacho needs to come in at the 60th.

Bony for Nacho and Delph for Dinho...i would have rather Delph for Fernando.

I agree with you here. But I'm thinking about their CDM/CM options. I feel like Hughes went out and bought a bunch of attack minded foward players, and there wasn't much thought done for defensive players. But yeah Butland is well on his way to top tiers of goalkeeping quality.

Dzeko was crucial for City. Wasn't the Aguero they dreamed of, but I saw him clinching very important goals. Getting rid of Negredo I understood, but Dzeko boggles my mind still.

He was inconsistent for long stretches and was going into his 2nd half of his footballing career. Indeed, he was very crucial at times when Aguero would be out for injuries and was vital in our title years. I felt the time was right to part ways. Don't think he had much left to give for the club considering he would of been splitting the bench with Bony.

I don't wanna play the injury card but I think this is the thinnest City has been in our ST and CB depth. Having no solidity on either end has gotten our midfield running up and down the pitch like headless chickens.

So glad that we don't have to face Payet today laugh.gif. Should be a tough match either way but they're not gonna be as dangerous. Need to keep an eye on Moses though...
